I am from Goa (India). These songs are wonderful. I am not able to follow the language, but the melody is mesmerizing. Atleast you should list the name of the songs in serial order.

I have watched this video numerous times..despite doing so, it is still new to me.. that is the level of mesmerizing the vocals and the music are.. I never had the chance to see Mr. CT.. but I saw him through Priyantha Aiya.. and the novelty vocalist in him..a great loss, not only to Moratuwa, but to the entire nation.. heartfelt gratitude to you Chandimal Sir, as I have always mentioned, you have always been the pioneer, in the exercise of making the legends unforgettable! When it's a jam packed audience who sings louder than my band on stage and the balcony people were dancing and clapping and how they expected me to just stay on stage like a statue. Like you said there were comments saying I am shouting and not to talk and ruining the music and all that. But just imagine how can I just stay still. I just cannot understand why people say not to talk. I got to talk nah?, I got to shout, I have to get it going and keep the 1800 audience going. Only the music itself is NOT enough to make a show live. Lots of talking on stage and the musician must have the contact with the audience. Thanks for your understanding Knitty. If I did this video exclusively for the video, well I would have just presented the song and just keep my mouth shut. But it was just 10 minutes of a 3 hours live show. Once again thanks you for understanding my role. Keep listening and enjoy the music.
Chandimal please keep the audience on their feet. I miss your live shows. Without your powerful excited entertaining voice, the music alone would have been boring. The audiences in the States who give a kick to the shows. Its not clapping hands at the music that brings in an atmosphere of dynamite. It's that screaming and over excited audience that make the show. In my personal view, boring dummies can listen to a CD or leave no negative comments on your concerts. I give you 1million 👍👍👍👍 thumbs up for making me smile. This isnt a political speech but a CONCERT. I watched a live show of the Super Golden Chimes in memory of Clarence on UA-cam. I wondered whether the audience was at a funeral. Annesley was very disappointed and asked the audience to join in MAKE A NOISE, SING ALONG. The clapping of hands were ridiculous boring and annoying. VERY DISCOURAGING FOR ANNESLEY. A waste of their time. Chandimal please keep the show going YOUR WAY. You are the BOSS and its YOUR MUSIC AND BAND. @@Knittyneeds Dear Knitty, When it's a show happening at BMICH the issue is it's not a hall made for concerts. It's a conference Hall with fitted tables and one set of fitted chairs. The main issue is people cannot stand up and dance unlike the events I do at hotels or other places. This is the biggest issue at bmich. Even though people like to dance and move around they are stuck. Instead they sing and clap and enjoy with us. This is totally different to hotel events and foreign shows I go. Recently at a dance in Australia my band played 6 hours without taking a single break. The entire audience were dancing and played hell. I just couldn't take a break. Unfortunately those events are not being filmed.
This is one of Excellent Show I have ever enjoyed.....Mr.Chandimal....I too bought the DVD as well...The great Musician...I think this is the time to organize this type of concert.. perhaps immediately after this covid tragedy....

Thank You Azad!! I grew up with listening to 60's / 70's music and they are in my blood. I cannot match late Mr CT, Clarence, Milton, Kapuge, Sunil Shantha, Sisira Senarathne, Dr Amaradeva etc. As a lover of those music I can only create a version of the songs. That is exactly what I have done. All over the world the best songs are still living because of the many versions. The original song will always live as long as versions comes. Thanks for your lovely comment Zee. It was a live performance. I had to guide Priyantha Aiya all the time because I knew he will not go as per the order. There are few mistakes but this is 12 members live band and live performance so you will not feel it. The balcony was playing hell and all the time dancing and singing with us. I enjoyed playing on stage as well as all my other players. You will never get a medley like this.

Well done Chandimal. In fact I'm a collector of your albums. (Imagine, Dream, Fame, Champ, etc...) Has been a fan of yours from childhood & still am. Everytime I visit Txxxxx @ Liberty & MC, my question was , anything from Chandimal.....

Thank you very much for your concern about the video Sanjaya. This is just a 10 minutes video of a 3 hours show. It was packed audience at bmich. During live shows talking things just comes. The entire audience were singing louder than the band. Live audience singing is not recorded. I was just guiding the audience too. I like your concern a lot. These type of comments are very valuable for us.

Thank you Nuwan for your concern. What to do my friend when it's a jam packed show these things happens. Live shows are always like this. This video is just 10 minutes of a 3 hours full show. When it's a live show the musicians cannot stay like statues on stage. I admire your concern. Fans feed back is very much needed. Fans keeps us going. Appreciate your concern.
