This is the real Philippines.. most vloggers are just wandering on all beautiful places.. but nothing compares going on this kind of adventure.. the real Philippines filipinos are going thru everyday.. more power
Lmao. Its irresponsible to say that this is what the real Philippines look like as a whole. Manila city is such an old city now and has been neglected for such a long time. Philippines is very diverse and metro manila alone differs from city to city. BGC, and Makati city for exampel are ways better than Manila.
Now, this is the real experience of Manila. Riding jeepney, crossing the street in a busy road, interacting with locals, seeing someone pee randomly. 😂
Peeing in public places is no longer common in our place unlike before. It is also should be against the law. There are just people like the one in the video thats a lost cause.
But that is a great experience riding a Pinoy jeepney when ur a foreigner that he will never forget in his life ung bayanihan sa Pag abot Ng bayad at sukili Ng ibng pasahero! Onli onli only in the 🇵🇭🙄🤔🧐🤣😂😆
I admire your good haggling skills to get the best price in everything. Props to you. I enjoy watching your trip in the Philippines 🇵🇭 it’s a lot of adventure even just walking and commuting around the city. It’s stressful as well when you don’t know where you’re going, but you have great and personable attitude so the people can see it as well.
To go to MOA use LRT 1. There's a connection in Recto station that will lead you to Doretheo Jose station. When you get there ask the guards what side is EDSA station. Go down at Edsa station then ride a jeepney to take you to MOA (it will have a sign on the jeepney) Hope you could have more Filipino friends because commuting in Manila is hard if you're not familiar. Also, I recommend you to buy helmets inside the malls to ensure quality. Vendors might have fakes. I might as well tell you the malls that you can go to using LRT Lrt 2 - Cubao = Gateway mall LRT 1 Roosevelt = SM North and Trinoma (when you go down to the station ride a jeepney or taxi) Lrt 1 - Central = SM manila Lrt 1 Pedro Gil = Robinson Manila (ask for directions when you go down it's only walking distance from the station) LRT 1 - Vito Cruz = No mall but lots of places to eat s edit: You can get to all of them using jeepneys, it just takes longer. Also, payment in jeepneys can be different depending on your destination. You got 18 pesos because your stop is at the end.
@Filipino Boo, the condo where you stay is in Cubao right? Let me give you another option to go to MOA instead of using the LRT Line 2 and Line 1. You can use the MRT Line 3 from Cubao Station (accessible via Farmer's Plaza) until Taft Avenue Station. After arriving at Taft Station, just exit from the station and take a jeepney ride to MOA. 😊
That's very brave of you to do all those things alone. I know the Philippines is far from being as organized as S.Korea and I commend you for enduring all the inconvenience. I also love that you're making "tawad" which in english translates to bargaining in order to find the most reasonable cost. That's what most Filipinos do because sometimes people raise the prices higher for bigger profit. Just be careful when carrying your gadgets and cash because there are pick-pockets everywhere even hidden ones. Anyway, have fun and stay safe always. Hwaiting! :)
When you buy fruits, veggies or event meat/seafood, you don’t have to buy the whole kilo. You can just get 1/2 or 1/4 so it’ll be cheaper since you’re alone. ☺️
This is why I subscribed to your chanel upon seeing your videos . It's raw , it's not sugar-coated , adventurous and fun ! I like that youre showing the real other side of the Philippines . Keep vlogging and we'll continue supporting your chanel . 🙂 God bless you !
In Metro Manila great places to go relax is Intramuros, Bonifacio Shrine (Hero's Park), Manila City Hall Clock Tower, Arroceros Forest Park, and Manila Zoo. All of them are newly renovated some finished renovations this year. All are actually within walking distance and can be reached by the Pasig River Ferry (to avoid traffic). Binondo is near Jones Bridge and Arroceros Forest Park btw. It's a great place to start exploring
I suddenly missed my old friend, lee jin, he's also a Korean and love eating jollibee foods after work. Couldn't forget how he looked like the first time he tried riding a jeep and a tricycle. Hahaha Filipinos are hospitable, but also, you should always be aware of the surroundings. 🙂
I am just amazed on how you tried to live and commute like a normal filipino. Just be careful with your belongings and avoid showing it out specially to crowded places :)
You are brave to explore Manila alone. I went to Dampa in the past. There's a new place overseeing Manila bay as your option. It's really a great place to experience delicious sea food. Download Grab instead for safer way to transport from one place to another. You're good at getting discount too. It seemed like people back in Korea had already given you some pointers. Be safe.
You are really brave passing through recto. Dampa Market sells the expensive seafood. Best market to buy good seafood bargain at Farmers or go to nearby provinces such as Cavite.
You are brave to travel alone, yeah! Filipinos are not camera shy because they encounter many vloggers like you. Be careful many Filipinos are helpful but still their are some not too good. But enjoy our country Godbless you.
This guy is a very unique blogger. Its so raw. I really like it. I think this was the kind of blogs original youtube creators had in mind when they put up youtube
Good job dude! I'm filipino but I've never gone around those places by myself lol. Filipinos are definitely nice and helpful , just like every other place, but of course there are bad seeds here and there. Im surprised you have yet to go around the good cities such as Taguig or Makati much cleaner areas. The areas you've shown are the old school areas. The areas that we grew up to. Good luck with everything. Praying that you continue to meet good and trustworthy people. Fighting! Try out Iloilo it's a wonderful place!
omo, daebaggida ahgusshi... i admire your braveness, courage into coming in the PH. Whenever there's something malicious happening, i got really worried for you. Please always be safe oppa. Have a safe and wonderful trip in the PH
So Seoul really don't have that good view of clouds bc of dust. As me living in Mindanao province, it's more fresh air you can imagine. And the tourist spot are beautiful.
Haizt i miss Philippines... when you are in manila, be careful because there are scammers who increase the price of the fare, or some bad people.. some only... But all the Filipino are helpful...
It would be better for you to move in Angeles City or in Clark, Pampanga. Food is more delicious, cleaner environment, transporation is more convenient and safer. Easy access to everything you need, in addition to having a korean town too. Enjoy your stay and stay safe!
As much as I agree with u the reason why he got fairly lots of views and subs is bacause his vlog is very raw and not the usual places foreigner vloggers go and show
I really love how everything felt new to you. Adventure is fun if you dont know what to expect! More of these vlogs please! Enjoy your stay in the philippines btw and I also suggest that you find a Filipino friend you can drag around 👍🤣
I have lived in South Korea and enjoyed my time there, good memories. Day to day life here is much more of a struggle for most compared to Korea. Once you have been here a while you will know when someone is asking too much for a product, IMHO if their price is fair just go with it as vendors here make very little money. Always good to keep 10 or 20 peso coins in your pocket for a small tip when someone gets you a taxi or goes out of their way to help you. They don't expect it but appreciate it. I enjoy your content, good luck and have fun!
Using the Grab app is more convenient than having a taxi, but more expensive. if you sit near the back of the Jeepney driver you'll always be the one to hand over the fare to the driver.
Its nice to be young and adventurous.. and you will soon realize that it's more fun in the Philippines..! Take care and enjoy your stay in our country. 😉✌️
Angkas is a motorbike transpo like grab. It's bein' use for avoiding traffic jam plus the fare is not bad. Helmet for the cheapest is 400 - 450 pesos and 1400 - 3000 php for the good quality ones
I like that you are brave to go around Manila. But just a suggestion, find a filipino friend that can help you navigate the city and communicate on your behalf just until you become accustomed to it.
@@greysmiles actually, this also happens to me A LOT, lalo na pag nararamdaman ng vendors na di ka sanay bumili sa kanila. Di kasi ako palalabas at usually sa mall talaga ako bumibili so ayon hahaha well lesson learned naman.
This video just showed up in my feed, not sure why (algorithms!) but I clicked anyway, and I see you're having fun exploring the city. As a fellow traveler who go alone, I can relate with you! Learn a few useful Tagalog phrases (especially for haggling, say "tawad naman") and that'll go a long way. Safe travels.
Hahaha.. the traffic and the struggle is real. Enjoy the ride of experiencing what filipinos have to deal everyday. Enjoy your camera capturing the culture of the filipinos. 💖🤝 More power to your Vlog !! : )
Imagine travelling to a country alone and no Filipino friend. I'd be so lost haha +++ Seungha travels more around PH than I do T___T +1000 for the commute and trusting your gut !!
natatawa natatawa ako sa iyo ganyan kasi sa Pinas pagsunnatatawa ako sa iyo ganyan kasi sa Pinas pagsumakay ka nang jeepney ikaw kasi malapit sa driver ..god blessed you and welcome to Philippines blog

Seungha, we love the part in the jeepney you said, "people keep giving me money" "not so good position" hahaha😅✌ that is how they pay inside a jeepney. pass the money and change. very funny hehe😅🇰🇷🇵🇭
You are very adventurous. 😄 You are not that so scared to be in a new place and just go with the flow. It's good that you communicate well and understand the people around you. 😁 You can be a good travel buddy! 😄 You are better than me in exploring Manila. Haha
I am much enjoying this especially that you know how much is expensive and cheap in our country. Like some tourists coming here would even say everything is cheap but then here you are, knows how life works in our country. Congrats and I am proud of you haha.
안녕하세요!Please go here in the Province of La Union which is the surfing capital of the north and where you can relax while watching the sunset.Hope to meet you soon
I have visualized that you have a bigger & heavier body build thats why no bad persons had tried to bully & harassed you while you are roaming around the vicinity of Metro Manila. I used to roam the streets when I dont have classes esp during weekends & holidays. I used to walk rather than riding in jeepneys coz you can easily arrive in your destination faster. I memorized all the landmarks in all the places I've been roaming around & it surely helped me when I've visited them when I been back to my province to work there.
I think BGC is the right place for you .. Use Grab App or Angkas so you can get to where you want to go faster .. And always be careful when you visit manila ..
The places you go and do in this vlog are kind of places only locals would dare roam around to. You are very brave! I can’t even do what you do. But as long as you keep asking questions, the Filipino people will help you. Just please be careful since you’re a foreigner and you’re also holding a camera out.
