*@NewYorkNick* from yesterday (episode 3279) "I love how no one’s giving Brooke the satisfaction she wants: Taylor/Morgan/Ridge are all rolling their eyes at her in that storyline and Thorne keeps rejecting her in the other storyline. 😆" I love how even Steph ain't got time for Br👀ke. Now she'll resonate with Thorne even more 😝
@Nick per your comment drawing parallels between Becky and Caroline....look theres even going to be a farewell party (Altho in Becky's case she doesn't know it's farewell)
Also it works with the parallel between Becky and Macy - both are important guests at a celebration of another person's milestone (Eric one year, Roberta's 60 days), and these events happen at the same time.
*Macy finds Pandora's Box* The wedding dress reappearing a _second_ time as a plot point shows how well structured this storyline is. First it was used weeks ago to create an intimate moment between Thorne and Brooke. And now we get the payoff of having the same dress recreate that intimacy between Thorne and Brooke again, but this time _in Macy's mind._ *Nick* made the parallel between Brooke opening the box in episode 3266, and Brooke opening the Pandora's Box of Morgan. And this time the box with the wedding dress functions as an _actual_ Pandora's Box for Macy, unleashing doubts and suspicions that she can't put "back into the box".
@@NewYorkNick0607 great point! Yes, Macy's Pandora's Box does have Hope in it too. She doesn't actually give up on her marriage until right at the end, and there is always the hope that she will pull herself together and get sober. And, as you said, even her "death" proves not to be hopeless.
*RECAP FOR EPISODE 3282* Thorne realizes that with his hectic work schedule has been ignoring Macy. He suggests that he accompanies her to her AA meeting tomorrow night and then out to dinner. Amber shows Stephanie Becky's medicine and some pamphlets about pancreatic cancer. Amber wants to give Becky a few more weeks before she reveals the truth to her. Stephanie offers to throw a belated birthday party for little Eric at her house, knowing it will be the only birthday Becky will ever celebrate for her son. Becky asks Eric, who is playing with Little Eric, if he would like her to change the baby's name. She's relieved when Eric admits he likes having the boy named after him. Brooke doesn't want to discuss her feelings with Macy, but assures her that she's learning to live with Thorne's decision. However difficult it may be to work closely with him as CEO, Brooke needs to do what is best for the company. After Brooke leaves, Macy notices that Brooke was staring at a box marked "Venice." She's stunned when she opens it and sees the wedding dress, realizing Thorne bought it the day Macy found him in Venice. Stephanie and Amber plan a party for little Eric, hoping to show Becky how the family can come together for the sake of a child. Becky is thrilled to hear the news, unaware of their ulterior motives.
Thorne literally didn’t it come up from the basement since 1987 and now he is the only employee Brooke has?? Boy she really has run that company to the ground!! 😆
Not Amber turning up her nose at Brooke being invited to the party 😂😂
Nice to see Eric rolling on the floor with Little Eric instead of his next daughter-wife.
😂😂😂
Daughter wife😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂🤣🤭
Maybe he was trying to impress Becky. She's a new Forrester employee - this usually gets Eric's attention.
Not me kicking myself for missing these comments 🤣
Brooke's on the Birthday Party List? It's no People Magazine but hey she finally made it on a list! 😜

Great catch Trish! 👍 Yes, it's like an inversion of that storyline isn't it?
Also it works with the parallel between Becky and Macy - both are important guests at a celebration of another person's milestone (Eric one year, Roberta's 60 days), and these events happen at the same time.
@@NewYorkNick0607yep. Altho one could also see both cases as a "celebration of life" party.
Brooke's wearing a shower curtain

Nice extrapolation! Pandora's box had Hope in it too. What do we think that is for Macy? The twist where she doesn't _actually_ die?
