Thank you for posting this. I had to modify the proportions just a bit but my spray works beautifully & lasted all day. I was really needing a base and it's nice & clear for my clear jars as well. I'm ready to buy another 8lbs lol
Thank you so much for sharing this information. Even though you’re starting your own business, you still lookout and help others like myself who’s also starting a small business. You are highly appreciated. Thank you. 🤍
Girl, you're Beautiful ! As a Man, I get messed with for wanting to get into this, but I'm doing it to make Haunt/scenery sprays For haunted houses and props/decor/costumes.
I noticed a strong alcohol scent as well I was able to balance it with the fo I was shocked at how intense it was. Does ur mix linger after you spray it in the room?
I got the Flaming Candle base as well! I love it however my spray bottles are supposed to “mist” but with this base it sprays like almost like a separated stream. Like it shoots out super far! 😅 Do you have this issue as well or does it mist well for you? I’ve seen others use these same exact bottles but with a different formula (they didn’t use a base) and it sprayed like a mist rather than shooting out. Have you had this issue? Has any customers complained or said anything?
Hey no I haven't had that issue or had any complaints with the spray bottles or the base, I also always shake well before spraying it incase of separation so maybe that can help (if you don't already do that). The spray top can also be faulty which may cause it to shoot out like that.
I have the same issue. I think it's because the tube in my bottles are really thin so the base is too thick for them. I emailed the flaming candle and they recommended diluting with alcohol but I find the base already has a strong scent so I'm kind of lost.
Thank you for this video! May I ask why you use fragrance oil for the room spray? I'm trying to figure out for myself if essential oil or fragrance oil is better... E.g. Is the scent stronger, or is it because of economic reasons (its cheaper to work with)?
Hi! I personally do not use fragrance oils. They are definitely concentrated so the fragrance will be much stronger than essential oils. Many fragrance oils have nasty chemicals that will not only stain certain fabrics, but are HIGHLY toxic to pets. Certain essential oils can be irritating AND toxic to pets, so you have to research which scents not to use if you have pets, but essential oils in general are a much safer alternative to fragrance oils. Also, fragrance oils are typically synthetic....spraying that stuff in yoir home can worsen allergy symptoms AND cause breathing issues for some people ♡
Have you had bubbles in your bottles with this base? When shaking the mix it looks like dawn dish soap and when spraying I’m getting bubbles coming out and landing on my fabric.
Most of the time I think about what I feel may pair well together and try it out from there. You can also look at other candle scents that you may like and put a spin on it. I hope this helps!
No, so this recipe is only for this room spray base. Depending on what type of wax you buy for your candles, it should tell you how much fragrance oil the wax can hold (should be in the details box of their website).
are all the ingredients listed in the base? Ive seen one base on one site and they werent telling people what the ingredients were because it was ''proprietary'' which is stupid because we cant make products with it and sale them in that case!
I'm not sure, it's not listed specifically on their website but I would patch test to make sure it doesn't ruin any materials in your car (I don't feel like it would since it says linen, but just to be safe). I hope that helps!
It’s the room spray base from the flaming candle and whatever fragrance oils you wanna use. The base ingredients are Water, surfactant, isopropyl alcohol, dipropylene glycol. I hope that helps!🤎
I go based off of the bottle details. So on the website it says that the bottle can hold 3.4 oz and then I calculate either 3 or 5% of that in fragrance oil (depending on FO). I hope that helps!🤎
I contacted them and this was their response “Our Linen Spray Bases have a shelf life of 6 months to a year. We recommend storing in a cool dark area away from direct sunlight. Also make sure that the lids are placed on the bottles tightly after every use. Expired products can oxidize which can impact the quality of the spray base, and how well it performs.” I hope that helps!
So by using this base for your room sprays, you only need to add 2-5% of fragrance oil to the base and shake well. You don't need any distilled water. I hope that helps!
No I don't (I just had to smell it to double check lol) but I'm not sure if they mix the base themselves because I have been seeing comments about the base indicating inconsistencies.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help!
I love that you share your knowledge… may the Lord blessed you for that kindness… can this be used in your bed sheets ?
Great video. Does it not leave any stains on stuff like linen for eg?...
I have a question what can make the fragrance last longer if u want to try this for a air freshener in general

Thank you!🤎 They are 3.4 oz spray bottles from the wooden wick co.
So you don’t need distlled water anymore since the base already includes it? All you added was the fragrance oil?
No you just have to add fragrance oil and stir

@HYA Co. thanks so much for the info. I’m gonna check the Flaming Candle’s base out. I’ve been mixing my own and the price is just right
You're welcome! 💛 Let me know how you like it compared to mixing your own!
Thanks. I was considering buying this base. Have you had any issues with clogging in the sprayer part?
You’re welcome! No I haven’t had any clogging issues. It works well for me

This video so awesome!! Thank you for sharing!!!❤️❤️❤️
You're welcome!🤎 Thanks for your support!
hi dear, what is the base made of ? ❤❤
What did younise for the base?
do you think the room spray base is better than water and vodka
Could this recipe be used as a body spray ?
How long do you stir for?
N what is ur measuring ratio?
I stir for about 2 mins and I use 5% FO of the amount of liquid the bottle can hold
Each fragrance has a different max load. There’s no one % across the board so you should be following what each one tells you on the bottle.
Super Super Helpful!!!
Hi was the base distilled water?
Thank you so much for sharing these tips with us 💞
You’re welcome!🤎
Pls what's the name of the ingredients u used? What's the name of the water u used? How many grams of water was it?
Dope informative video. Thx
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful!
What happens if you use too much fragrance oil?.. I assume it just won't blend well.... Is there any other things that May happen?
Hi, what will the ratio of Room spray to fragrance oil be for 100grams
Thank you! This was so helpful!
Can I use essential oil instead of fragrance oil? If it is okay, then is it same volume?
Yes they say the majority of fragrance oils and essential oils works with it along with the same measurements (2-5%)
i might have missed it, but for your measurements you said u have 3.4floz bottles. are you using 3.4 fl oz of the base - whatever 5% of ur FO is?
Yes, so it’ll be 3.4oz / 96 grams * 5%= 91g base + 5g FO (the numbers are rounded). I hope this helps!
Love this… thanks for sharing 💕
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!🤎
What exactly is the base ?
Have you had bubbles in your bottles with this base? When shaking the mix it looks like dawn dish soap and when spraying I’m getting bubbles coming out and landing on my fabric.
Don't shake before you spray the base coagulates it so you shouldn't have to shake
How do you know what fragrance mix well and smells good together
Most of the time I think about what I feel may pair well together and try it out from there. You can also look at other candle scents that you may like and put a spin on it. I hope this helps!
Where do you get th supplies from
And Where did u get the fragrance from
Can you use the same recipe for candles
The base and fragrance oils are from the flaming candle and the spray bottles are from the wooden wick co
No, so this recipe is only for this room spray base. Depending on what type of wax you buy for your candles, it should tell you how much fragrance oil the wax can hold (should be in the details box of their website).

Yes, the ingredients are listed. I agree with you, in that case you can't let your customers know what's in it which may steer people away. 🤦🏽♀️
@@thehyaco That's awesome, thank you! I'll have to check it out.
So helpful 🙏

Please could you write me the list of ingredients of this spray... please 🙏
It’s the room spray base from the flaming candle and whatever fragrance oils you wanna use. The base ingredients are Water, surfactant, isopropyl alcohol, dipropylene glycol. I hope that helps!🤎

I love your channel
Can this be used as a body spray?
No they don’t recommend, but they do have a body spray base on their website.
@@thehyaco OK thank you! Well wishes for you and your business 😊
Thanks you! I wish you the best as well🤎
What is the base@?
Do you add water
Not necessary when using the pre-made base from flaming candle!
What formula did you use to figure out how much per bottle?
I go based off of the bottle details. So on the website it says that the bottle can hold 3.4 oz and then I calculate either 3 or 5% of that in fragrance oil (depending on FO). I hope that helps!🤎
With the base does it include a preservative?
What are you using for a base?
It's the Room spray base from the flaming candle
What is the Base please
It's the room/ linen spray base from the flaming candle.
no labels or what ingredients you put inside so like im so lost
What is the shelf life?

@@thehyaco is the shelf live before or after it has been mixed with fragrance?
can you say what the ingredients are in the Flaming Candles base?

Ok explain to me 1 more time about the base and the distilled water
So by using this base for your room sprays, you only need to add 2-5% of fragrance oil to the base and shake well. You don't need any distilled water. I hope that helps!
😍😍😍💜💜💜
Do you notice a strong alcohol smell with this base?
No I don't (I just had to smell it to double check lol) but I'm not sure if they mix the base themselves because I have been seeing comments about the base indicating inconsistencies.
@@thehyaco LOL, that's why I asked bc of the mixed reviews. I'm going to give it a try. I do not have it in me to mix my own lol.

This formula doesn’t require distilled water?
No, the base from flaming candle has everything in it already.
