Thanks mate. I think I'll try this tomorrow with the three baths I have out in the yard. I acquired them from some bathroom renovations I was involved with. It will keep the kids away from the tv for a few hours and hopefully wear them out a touch. They might learn something in the process! Very genuine video, much appreciated. Cheers, from Aus
Great video! I love the supply list, as I am just starting out and trying to source all these things. Your video has been one of the most helpful ones out there. I like how you explain everything clearly. Thanks!
You don't need to do that, but we do because we have a small tractor where we can pick up the tanks and move them around. I might also be a little concerned about them sitting on the ground where they might be more likely to rust.
Hi, Great video. I have a used stock tank i bought that is missing the drain plug. I was wondering what parts i need to use to attach the ¾” PVC street El you mentioned in the parts list. If you would hep me with that i would greatly appreciate it. i grow in earth box wicking containers and love them so i would like to try and make a larger one. Thanks!
Does the tank have the fitting that goes thru the metal and is threaded. If you have this all you need is a 3/4" street L (threaded male on one side and female on the other side) and screw in the male side and add the PVC pipe. If you only have bare metal then I would check at your local hardware or plumbing store for fittings. Make sure you bring pictures and the diameter of the hole in the metal. They should be able to fix you up.

Thank you! Question, what is the reason for the 4x4" propping up the tanks?

Anyone who sells the tank should be able to help you.
