I had to do this to my game twice now, first because of the 0.1 kb download speed and then because the game didnt let me play and said "vanguard error". Thank you this video help me. I cant understand how a company with so much money cant fix their game honestly is ambarrasing.
Watched 45 sec of the video -> closed the whole Opera -> pressed "update" again in the Riot client -> worked in 5 sec xDD 😅👍(Got this "bug" for the first time tho. I always update with stuff open and I never had any issues...)
Troubleshooting a program and using recommended settings(first option) worked for me. So i will leave the comment here for the people with this problem.
this is like the 6th time I've had to disable all my antivirus and firewalls to allow league to complete a download or update, wtf is wrong with that company? This is the only game that requires that, what do they need access to inside my PC that my AV and FW is blocking them from initially? Shit company.

I switched priority to high & thankfully it worked. I was waiting for hourssss thinking my internet was the problem 💆🏻♀️
