I 💯 Agree Barbaric is a Great read I remember picking this book up at my lcs and at the time NOBODY was buying it, I loved the story, the concept it's just really a cool funny comic book

Yes, you got to have both. Gambit X-Men Annual is first appearance of Gambit b/c it came out before his X-Men cover. Now Red Hulk #2 might be Red Hulk's first appearance in a comic book, but Red Hulk #1 is his first appearance to comic fans b/c he's on the cover even though he's not pictured in the book. As a comic fan #1 allows me to see Red Hulk, not calling it his first appearance is like trying to put the toothpaste back in the bottle.
How can a cover get accepted as1st appearance when poor old Gambit won't get recognition for the X-men annual?

I know who's who but what I am saying is that with the poor job Disney did with the She-Hulk show, no one is going to care about any She-Hulk variation going forward. Plus you are thinking about the wrong Jennifer. Jennifer Connelly played the first Betty Ross but the most popular one is played by Liv Tyler. It's Liv Tyler whom we saw on the new set of CA 4 but who knows now with all the reshoots.

Hulk #1 IS the 1st Appearance in-story of Ross's Hulk aka RED HULK and I hope Nick Key Collector has the time to check this out and change the info in his app..Ross HULK aka RH does appear in-story in issue #1, but the only difference is that the skin tone is NOT red because the dialogue is explained by Doc Sam through his vision, but it is actually a retrospect of his actual memory. Topher and I went back and forth with this last week and had an awesome and healthy spec debate about it.. I will copy and paste why Ross RED HULK (w/o the red tone) is in the GUTS and is confirmed..
I suggest going back to HULK #23 vol 2 again.. It IS ALL in there.. Fully revealed that Doc was apart of Cabal with Ross (actual ROSS not the Decoy) Leader and MODOK BEFORE the events in Hulk issue 1 vol 2..
Around the middle of the Origin from the actual General Ross, he fills in the story stating that Doc Samson was in MODOK'S pocket all along.. ROSS gets into the timeline of how things went down from before the events that occurred in Hulk 1, (At or around/after Cap's assassination) when Leader and MODOK approach him in the bar..
Then when Leader, Samson, Modok, Ross are at the SHIELD Gamma Holding facility where Banner is in a comatose state, Ross is asking questions on how and what kind of weapon of sorts that Leader, Modok , and Samson had in store for ROSS. The rest of the story fills all the blanks proving Doc knew the ENTIRE time what him, Leader, and Modok created..
The rest of the story goes down the timeline from before hulk issue 1 , into issues #1-6, King Size Hulk, Hulk issue 7 and beyond..
This issue is a VERY important Origin and reveal story regarding this debate, which proves your theory (all though a pretty logical and solid theory) no longer holds water and is debunked, for lack of a better term, making the 1st Appearance of Thunderbolt's Ross's HULK, aka the RED HULK in issue #1 of HULK Vol 2.. Issue 2 is an in-story REVEAL of the true skin tone of Ross's HULK and 2nd Appearance of Red Hulk..
I picked up Barbaric when it originally came out because I liked the cover design and art so much. It's a really fun series. My only gripe is that 'Owen' is a really dull name for a cool barbarian character. Vault Comics is my current favorite indie company and they really do some quality books. Do yourself a favor and also read the Queen of Swords spin off. And for an excellent horror story try The Autumnal.
People don't waste your money on spec books cause buy the books you want that way if they go up good and if they go down who cares cause you got the books you really want. I know after 17 years of collecting and 2 short boxes of keys ,I just want a TMNT#1 third print for now and work my way to a first print one maybe but after that I am done collecting cause I bought the books I wanted and there is nothing else I want well except a X-Men#1 1963 and Batman#1 1940 but I will never get those books.

I don't know what to think about Red Hulk. I was disappointed in the way the story was laid out in the comics. Tricking collectors into buying the series waiting for the reveal. As a collector I'm glad I purchased the first 15 or so. As a reader I hated it! Thanks for the update... :)
Man! That uncanny X-Men is worth 25??? That's two little ceasers pizza's and you'd still have 5 dollars to buy soda!!! Then if you got it graded it's worth a trip to the grocery store!!!! That's amazing!

So happy to see Barbaric on this list! 🩸🪓🩸One of my favorite modern comics that's been consistently killer. I was very excited to hear the option news and casting..... until I heard the name Michael Bay.
Barbaric was one of my favorite reads for sure regarding a barbarian. The lead with his supporting cast of characters was funny and exciting. Not a boring read at all. I knew eventually someone would make this book famous, so I bought multiple copies when it first came out and all of its variants. This comic was so good, I kept looking for the next issue and next when it was running. A good comic book is a book with a good story, unique tale sometimes and characters you can cling to because you like them. Can't wait for the movie. Oh, and I am glad to see it isn't a Disney product or I know they would F this up.
I would have to think that they did a lot of reshoots to change the use of Sabra in the film. I'm sure from day 1 they lost all distribution in the Arab world.
You need to put more respect on Jack Bauer's name.😄 The show had a nice run. It ran out of gas towards the revival, but it had a nice run.
24 is a great show! Skip season six. That is great news that they’re going to be continuing the story. Hopefully it has keeper Sutherland as Jack in it.

I brought the five issue set of Prelude to Deadpool Corps for $10.00 to read never thinking it was going to worth much. I better double board these books just to play it safe! 😁

Real red hulk key is #2, he's on cover and first full. #1 is cool cover and first cameo.
Season one of 24 is still worth a visit, even if it's just to see how young Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) looks. Try episode 1 and see how you go. Can't comment on the quality of the comic though :)

Tired of the 1st cameo vs 1st appearance debates. If a character is obviously seen on the cover or on a page for the first time, its the first appearance.
The cover is not the story though, and correct me if I am wrong but if it the full view of the character it would be considered a firs appearance, cameos are things like being in the shadows or from behind where you can't see their front/face...maybe even just mentioned. Please though correct me if there are obvious full body frontal appearances IN BOOK that happened first and are not considered 1st appearances as I know of none (except McFarlane states ASM 299 is the 1st of Venom I have not verified this, but I trust him...this is the one I can think of).
Also the first appearance of the secret identity, or that person as a different character...these are different.
Distinctions are important.
