You have a FB Page, website, email, or other way to message you directly? You’re without a doubt my favorite Power breakdown channel by far! I didn’t start watching the show until it was in the middle of Season 5. So I got to binge it straight through all the way up to Kanan’s death.
I’ve always been good at stuff like this… From figuring out the culprit on shows like Law & Order, Psych, How to Get Away With Murder, etc… to mystery movies and books as well!
So on Power, I figured out major plot points LONG before they happened. Much of it even being documented. I knew Dre was gonna turn and take over both sides of business from one single scene… which was his first time meeting Karen Bassett. I suspected it long before that once I saw the way Kanan, Ghost, AND Tommy had ALL been punking him. It was obvious to me bc their perceived power over him blinded them from ever considering him a threat.
When Kanan killed Shawn, I IMMEDIATELY predicted that Tariq would end up killing Ghost. I saw it coming down to the same situation where if Ghost didn’t kill Riq, Riq was gonna kill him. And I felt like Ghost didn’t have it in him to kill his son. Don’t even get me started on Book II. I knew Lauren was alive. I solved the problem Brayden caused by not killing the Russian- causing Tariq to do it. I commented on the recap of that episode and immediately said they should frame Kai for it… which they ultimately did a month later. And so much more.
I love your channel because you catch things that even I missed! And that’s dope! I just wanna run my breakdown by you to see if I’m tripping with my perspective and the evidence that led me to my conclusions.

I love this theory! I also believe that this is Ghost’s way of “showing him the game” like Tariq asked him to do. He wasn’t gone show him the game like Kanan did, he chose to show him via life experiences. Ghost wanted to be out the game, so he used his son’s fire for wanting to be IN the game so badly as his way out. So he planned it perfectly using government officials to bring down the corrupted DA office (get back for pinning Greg death on him) as well as Tasha for accepting Tariq’s lifestyle and using their son to take him out (RICO) and Tasha saying Tommy’s name in the RICO case (get back for Angela). I believe Tommy is in the dark about everything too but he’s suspicious as well that Ghost could still be alive just as Tariq is becoming suspicious also. Det. Blanca knows more than she’s letting on. I believe Effie is keeping Ghost updated which is why she always feels the need to protect him, even when they’re not on good terms. And Salim is working with Blanca as a CI. Oh and lastly, Ghost is also secretly taking down Tate in the process highlighting his corruption. Ghost and Ramona is somewhere living their best new life just as he and Angela dreamed of.

Everyone, this entire mystery surrounding Ghost, James St. Patrick is all a PLAY. Starz, CK, 50 have been playing us for the last 5 years. For starters, if Power wouldn't give me the money that I asked for, then I'm NOT speaking on that show in ANY interview that I do. Don't ask me shit about Power. Omari ALWAYS responds to Power questions and half ass answers questions that pertain to him actually "dying" on the show. We all know NDA's play a huge part too, so there's only so much that can be said. The writers kill off Ghost due to "insufficient funds", but bring Mary J. Blige in, paying her MORE than MRJ when it's supposed to be HIS show?🤔 Anyway, the Perspectives of the last 5 episodes told us more than enough. "WHO SHOT GHOST?" It was never "WHO KILLED GHOST?". We ALL saw Ghost turn and look directly at that closet that Tariq stashed that damn gun inside of, then they cut to the next scene. He stood there and let Tariq shoot him, but Tariq didn't hit Ghost with the 2 and 1 special like Raq taught Kanan. Blanca did say they found that burner phone and they questioned a Correctional Officer that refused to talk. Ramona ain't fooling me at all. As powerful as she is, she sure AF helped Ghost that night. Remember what she told Paz in the restroom? When I think of "unstoppable", I think of people in office like Governors or Congressmen or Judges. Ghost could have easily rolled up on Effie at Choate because first of all, how TF did he even know what dorm Tariq was in? ALSO, the writers showed that she was texting an "unknown number or caller" when she stated that Tariq was out of product, but that person never responded. We STILL don't know jack shit about Eddie I meant Effie either. How everybody moving weight and you the only one broke? Moving on. Tommy KNOWS something too. It's been small pieces in Power Book Force that you have to pick up on. When Chewy made that Casper joke, Tommy said, "Nah, I ain't no Ghost." (the subtitles capitalized the G in Ghost as if Tommy was referring to GHOST himself). "My former partner." "He went down south." We still don't even know how Tommy had connections to that school he sent D-Mac to without even showing up in person to enroll that boy😆!! Continuing, WHERE IS SIMON STERN AT??? It was said that Stern KNEW James was a murdering drug dealer and Simon Stern has got to be the most powerful player in Power because he told the detectives on campus, "EVERYONE ANSWERS TO ME." as they conducted the dead body in the pool and Jabari Reynolds. Have y'all noticed that Tariq has not been expelled YET with all of the murders on that campus???? Why do you think? SIMON STERN. Now, the final nail in the coffin, no pun intended. WE HAVE NOT SEEN JAMES' BODY IN A MORGUE OR IN A CASKET! AND UNTIL THAT BODY SHOWS UP, HE AIN'T DEAD AND HE STILL TALKING.

Joey badass straight up said that he wasn't returning and then Unique shows up in the finale.. They had to give Tariq time to go through life issues and build his character.. If Omari just straight up says that hes returning to Power that would take away some of the momentum that they have been building up for his return.. I appreciate the support!! 💯

Love the theory but I don’t think k it make sense for Tariq to be in on it , I think Ghost had to convince EVERYONE around him he was dead especially Tariq, also Tariq have said multiple times he killed him in Book 2 …. If Ghost is still alive which I still believe he is , the only person that knows is Ramona and whoever else helped him , I’m kind of split between if Tommy knows or not because they never revealed what was in the letter , … I think Ghost plan went beyond him getting out the game , I feel his plan was also to allow Tariq to figure out for himself ( While Ghost watch in the shadows ) That the Game ain’t worth it … like I said before the only way to bring him back is to show him rescue Tommy and Tariq at the end of both shows and for them to have a COMING TO JESUS MOMENT and leave the game for good …or at the very least him trying to save Tommy but Tommy doesn’t make it but is able to warn him that Tariq is in big trouble so he can save him ….then give us 1 last episode on how he planned everything NO MORE SPIN OFFS besides the prequels … it wouldn’t make sense for him to do all that jus to get back into the game

Remember in season 2 when he was having a nightmare and talking to everyone in the classroom that he unalived or had a hand in unaliving? He told Lauren not to come in the room (who later was alive and not deceased) and Carrie was trying to hand him a vibrating phone with Ghost calling but woke up before he could answer. James St. Patrick and Ghost were 2 different people but James didn't want to be Ghost anymore. Tariq wanted to be Ghost so bad that it's possible that James figured he was his way out. Tariq is now carrying the burdens that come with being Ghost. Dark 🌑

Phenomenal breakdown!!! I said the same thing about Ghost leaving Tommy a note in that envelope. In the last scene when Tommy leaves for Cali & he’s playing Regulators, he has a suttle smirk on his face. As close as he & Ghost were, I feel like he would have been a little more emotional. He was leaving the town he grew up in, ran the streets & built an empire & his brother died…nah he would have definitely been upset. Also, Tariq has pretended before. He would have helped Ghost because Ghost being dead benefits Tariq cos he wouldn’t have to turn himself in & then Ghost gets to live the life he always wanted.

Great video and theory. I’m team Ghost is alive. I’ve thought this since Power ended. I’ve been thinking about this angle a lot more lately. The episode title for the finale of the OG series was “Exactly how we planned”, the final title of this series is “Just like we planned”. Not a coincidence. In the scene you referenced with Tariq and Monet, Tariq very subtly shakes his head no to her question about whether he killed his Ghost.
Back to the titles, throughout the last episode of Power, Ghost is executing his plan. He’s saying and pushing the right buttons to elicit certain responses and actions from ppl.
To your point about the ambulance, you hear the sirens before anybody on the outside of the club would have known anything. happened.
Right! It seemed too easy compared to the other ppl who were after him. His body was never identified at the morgue like everyone else and Ramona was not at the funeral. Very suspicious

Nah, Tariq wasn’t in on it… but he DOES know that his dad is alive. He figured it out in Season One of Book II then it was confirmed in Season Two. I can prove it too.
I like the theories but there’s a few more clues where it seemed like Tariq was unaware. Remember season 2 of Ghost where the Lawyer talked to him in the hallway about Yas adoption…he said “He had all this planned already” the lawyer just gave him a look and nodded but didn’t actually speak.

We hear 50 cent iconic song many men playing, we suddenly hear Ramona’s voice, cut scene to Tariq on the phone, he say it’s done. Then we hear, I’m so proud of you son as ghost is saying that, show ghost face. Then roll credits, that would be heart stopping.
Don't know if it was a show era or if ghost changed the gun but the gun that Tariq put in the club aint the same gun he used to supposedly kill ghost. The ambulance was leaving when tariq was coming from dumping the gun in the dumpster. And that would have been to fast. I'm still not there yet b/c this is some bitterness on Omari's party b/c he does not feel he was ever paid fairly, I do not believe he will return to the role, unless he is adequately compensated.

Just watched Power 6 episode 10 and I think Ghost is at Unk Gabe's place for sure. Remember he purchased if from him and we never saw him do anything with it. It wouldn't make any sense for him to go to a different state. Ghost has been in New York this entire time laying low until Tariq graduates (Main goal). For that to happen he had to get rid of some people and remove himself from the equation. He knew the longer he was around people would still come for him.
Ghost has been keeping tabs on Tommy’s mother's home from her ring camera. Effie has been watching Tariq to make sure he's staying out of trouble and he graduates college. Now it's getting closer for Tariq to graduate that's why we are seeing more Ghost signs.

If you paused right before Tariq shoots ghost he closed his eyes meaning 2 things 1 he missed or 2 ghost switched the gun out and Tariq didn’t noticed the impact of the bullet being a blank
We know ghost switched the gun out because the gun Tariq used to shoot ghost was not the gun Dre gave him it was the gun Ghost held on Tariq in the scene when he told Tariq to stop thinking he smarter than him and to never make that mistake again. Ramona can be seen hiding that gun with her purse in a bathroom scene after having words with Paas Valdez. Ramona definitely helped ghost fake his death!! When Tommy got there that's why Ghost told him not do anything to Tariq because he wanted Tariq to believe he had succeeded.

He could have done the same with Tariq and he would have seen it coming because Tariq had already threatened him a few good times

Only way I see this working is mabee ghost swapped the bullets. I can understand tariq only taking one shot because it was his dad so no matter what it wasn't a murderous rage shooting. So if ghost planned it I think he would've made sure that tariq didn't lose his inheritance in Braden's families company. And now Tasha is broke and working at a supermarket. So if ghost was alive he would have definitely had a backup plan for Tasha and Yaz. So something isn't adding up. In the second to last episode of Book 2 tariq told Methodman he killed his dad and noma and the rest think he won't kill them to without hesitation. It would be awesome if ghost came back. But there are too many wholes in how ghost would have handled anything in book 2. His character was a man that always provided for his family no matter what. And Tasha always knew how to cook the books. So either way they were smart enough that Tasha wouldn't have been struggling. Only way like I was saying before is that ghost changed the bullets but Tasha and Tariq weren't in on it. So when he saw Tasha come in when tariq shot him he got mad and left them to fend for themselves. That's the only thing that makes sence if he's still alive. The effie tie might be possible but I feel like there would always be a mystery person backing her up behind the scenes.

I don’t think Tariq or Tasha know Ghost could be alive. I think that was the whole point of faking his death. I do think he got into ambulance and that’s what saved him. Hopefully he ran away with the politician woman he dated, she may have helped him escape.
