I see it as an office safe fragrance but it smells so luxurious I’d wear it on a nice night out for like a business dinner . The ladies at Neiman Marcus keep giving me those Amyris samples because they want me to fall in love with it and buy a full bottle. I will say it’s tempting because it’s that good in my opinion but the price is what keeps me from pulling the trigger until I find it on discounters . The extrait de parfum only comes in one size you can’t get the smaller bottle . Hope you got the other package in the PO Box as well cheers thanks for the shout out.

This last for absolutely ever and gives me vibes of a perfected AHSEE but something in the deep dry down when I spray it on clothes comes off cloying to me. I’m really trying to get past whatever that is because it’s a beautiful scent with incredible longevity.

@@gerardgeorgedunno. edt fresher so I'll probably use it on high heat days and more casual things. cloudy and night life/night time i will use extrait. here snowing and freezing outside right now, so lets see in a few months
For me, this fragrance was love at first sniff. Bought a decant, and only took 3-4 wearings to pull the trigger on buying a full bottle. Such a beautiful and addictive scent!

Thank you for the review. I do own this fragrance and although I do enjoy it, I haven’t been wowed by it yet. I haven’t worn it during warm or hot weather, which is when I think it will really shine. Fairly subdued during any other season.

I have this (the Extrait version), as well as Xerjoff Uden, Chanel Allure Homme (the OG) And Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. They might have some similarities, but Amyris is still unique and my favourite out of those. It took a while before I convinced myself to spend this kind of money, but it's such a smooth and well-blended fragrance and SO versatile. I've used it from work to weddings, in all seasons. The performance is INSANE! Two sprays in the neck will easily last 8-10 hours. So yes, it's a lot of money. But the confidence it creates and the performance it has is worth it for me.

The original Amyris is fantastic and last forever, can’t imagine the extrait.
if you imagine that the norm is a nice daytime scent, extrait is like refined for a warm casual summer night

This is an amazing Fragrance, very versatile and smells elegant. Its definitely addictive smelling. I have decants but i will buy a bottle b4 the end of this year.
It really is and its on my short list to grab a bottle.
Alexandria Fragrances has one that is close to this called: Law of Attraction. It's rather good.

My favorite scent of all time is hands down masculin plurial by mfk. I know how you like your old school classics, g. Plurial is so luxuriously elegant, it's hard to put into words. Stay humble my friend.

Smells so good but NOT worth $300+
Only a few are Worth the price. I personally bought Kilian Fievre Verte for 250 1.7 ounce bottle. Expensive but the sillage and longevity is insane. The scent is heavenly

@@gerardgeorge smells so good! They got it Saks. I tried all the creeds and PDM and they all smell like synthetic chemical crap compared to Fievre Verte.
I've tried the edt, and loved it. I nearly bought it there and then. However at the 2 hour mark it started to fade into a very sweet and incense-y smell that I don't really enjoy. And that is how it stayed, unfortunately. So I'll have to go for something else.
I hate when I like one part of a fragrance and not the other.

Amyris Homme EDT used to be my signature about a year ago, and it was one of the few bottles that I actually finished the bottle of. Mad compliments and versatility. I wonder if extrait is markedly different from EDT.
I'm going to have to try it. I need a bottle lol.
