Too many Black people don’t understand policy. The GOP policy will absolutely make Black people worse. They’ve had the House and haven’t done one thing but put on political theater. You're talking about Reaganomics, but that was over 40 years ago! One thing that a Republican president can do that would almost immediately improve the economy is to open oil drilling and pipelines in the US, like it was under Trump. Cheap energy leads to growth in all industries and businesses because everyone relies on it. Biden shut that stuff down right after being elected, which began the economy's tanking. The other thing a Republican can do is strongly go after illegal immigrants and close the border. That opens up more jobs and keeps real wages up for Americans. Finally, a Republican would most likely rescind the silly electric vehicle policies that Biden put in place, which are driving up the cost of vehicles to the point of unaffordability for most Americans. Trump would do all these things and more, significantly improving the US economy in less than a year. I think what a lot of voters fail to realize is that modern Democrats are no longer the friends of working-class Americans. They are now the party of international elites. Too many Black people don’t understand policy. The GOP policy will absolutely make Black people worse. They’ve had the House and haven’t done one thing but put on political theater. They’re not interested it doing anything for the people. But everything connected to abortion(access to more than abortion is connected to abortion restrictions), social security, tax cuts, education and many more actually directly impact Black people.

I didn't vote for Biden. However he said if you can't tell the difference between him and Trump, etc. so those of us who keep misquoting him aren't helping. But this country has to do more than just talk about a racial reckoning, and there won't be a racial reckoning unless we force its hand. As far as those Biden initiatives mentioned, those were all lives matter initiatives.

You're talking about Reaganomics, but that was over 40 years ago! One thing that a Republican president can do that would almost immediately improve the economy is to open oil drilling and pipelines in the US, like it was under Trump. Cheap energy leads to growth in all industries and businesses because everyone relies on it. Biden shut that stuff down right after being elected, which began the economy's tanking. The other thing a Republican can do is strongly go after illegal immigrants and close the border. That opens up more jobs and keeps real wages up for Americans. Finally, a Republican would most likely rescind the silly electric vehicle policies that Biden put in place, which are driving up the cost of vehicles to the point of unaffordability for most Americans. Trump would do all these things and more, significantly improving the US economy in less than a year.
I think what a lot of voters fail to realize is that modern Democrats are no longer the friends of working-class Americans. They are now the party of international elites. Obama was a big reason for that shift. The Republicans are not always better, but there is a more significant populist movement on that side at the moment.

As a 67 year old Black woman, I am so sadden by the lack of understanding in the Black community and how we don't read or research anymore. I have 5 children and 7 grandchildren I've taught each one about the history of our people. Listening to talking heads on any platform and not doing your own due diligence is really alarming! I hope this message somehow reaches Charlamagne tha God. He is one of the people who is critical of the Democrats and also openly shows his sympathy for the Republican party, including recently for Nikki Haley at the Daily Show desk. That has an impact. He is rich if Trump comes back to power he won't really suffer. But the millions of others are not so fortunate.
How is it NOT the Democrats fault, when they FAIL to deliver policies and programs to empower Black Americans? What do Democrats have in place to empower Black Americans NOW and in the future? A major issue in many under-served Black communities is an excess influx of undocumented migrants. How does flooding Black neighborhoods with non-citizens HELP to empower Black citizens?! Democrats are NOT doing a very good job...
