I’m running Road One’s. They’re 33x11.3(?) 20’s. I’m very impressed. They’re quiet, wear even and did really well for me all winter in Maine. They do wear pretty fast but then again if I stayed off the throttle in my LBZ it might be different. Overall I’m very impressed
You can see them on your gallery on my 2006 Black crewcab GMC Sierra 2500hd. The wheels they are mounted to are 20x12 Pure Grit with a -44 offset. Overall a very low cost package that turns a lot of heads
I'm actually running a set of road one Calvary MTs 35×12.50r20 on my 6 inch lifted F150. I got them cuz the shop couldn't get the amp MTs in quick enough. I was hesitant to get em cuz I didn't like the tread pattern but these are sweet tires. They ride pretty good for E rated tires but they're very quite for being MTs. Haven't gotten to off road them yet but can't wait cuz this truck didn't get stuck even with stock good years
Better be glad you didn't get the amp tires cause they absolutely suck. Running them on a new set of 14" wide fuel rims and these tires have the worst vibration I have ever felt. Saving now to get them off my truck.
Milestar Patagonia M/T is a great cheap tire. Don't offroad mine but they were great in snow and best traction on rain I've ever had on any M/T tire I've ran. Worth a look for sure if doing a build
For $650 I bought a set of 285/75r16 general grabber at2's and I wouldn't consider them "cheap". I've never had problems with them so far after over 10k miles of daily driving and the occasional trail riding. They really shine in the snow and they're studdable for ice.
Have the Arrturo XT. 35x12.5x20 on a '12 Ram 2500 and they were very quiet for the first 8k miles, then got pretty loud, but expected since they are hybrid. I got about 28k total on them, would last about 8k more if I stayed on top of the rotating and balancing, so that's my fault. I will be trying a different type next, but these really did well even in the snow storm we had here in Houston this year. Rain, Mud, and highway miles and they've done a great job!
Great info. There is definitely a market for these cheaper tires. A ranch truck, hunting vehicle, or you are just on a budget. With that said, I do find it ridiculous when I see these cheap tires on trucks that cost 60k plus. I see these cheap tires on king ranch f250s with crazy lifts here all day in TX.
I have 285 70R17 Radar Renegade AT's on my '07 Ram 2500 HD and these are great tires! Great grip off road and minimal road noise. I'm thinking about Dick Cepek or Atturo for my next set. Good review.
I have the General Grabber AT2 in 285 75 16. No road noise. I got them $150 a tire and now have 90k miles on them. They still have quite a bit of tread left. At the rate I'm going to easily get 120k on them before getting down to the wear indicators.
I got the MTs from Treadwrite and they are by far the cheapest but still good tires. Got 35x12.5x20 for $160 each. I put 15k miles on them before I sold the truck and they still looked new
I ran federals. 35x12.5R18 side walls were really squishy. Snow traction was not great. Sand was a no go. Mud was good. I loved my nitto trail grapplers.
The Milestar Patagonia MT in 31x10.50 has been a very good tire for the mountains & desert here I southern Az. Great traction in heavy rain, mud, loose rock and even deep sandy washes. Alot of bang for your buck. They wear good and look good too, with great sidewall traction
Im trying dirt commander tires that only cost less than $900. So far so good but they do run small for 35" tires. I can't take them back so I will have use them. They have a nice side grip and aggressive tread
I just bought timberland a/t 275/65/20 for my 2016 ram 1500 I love them $140 each on Amazon they list for $290 on there website not any reviews out there 7,000 miles so far look brand new still
Beware of blow outs with Federal Couragia, Google search lots of negative. I have Thunderer mt's on mine and have no complaints with 30k + miles on them and should hit 40k easily. Honestly I haven't kept up on rotations and had I 50k would've probably be doable. Rubber actually seems of good quality as well as the tires show no weather cracking at all which I couldn't say the same for even Toyo mt's I've had before.
I would hope so, blow out with a normal size tire is bad enough let alone with a larger tire on a lifted vehicle (been there done that) ...the money saved on tires will be handy when buying new underwear 😀
I’m about to order a set of federals 35s, iv read a lot about the blow out , it was the side walls that was cracking, from iv read issues have been fixed
should try Delium tires have them on my jk over 5k miles so far and been through gulches off road park in south carolina with not a issue great traction dry or wet very quiet on road handles great a set of 5 37/12.50/20 cost me mounted and balanced $1350 cant beat that for the size and for five

Pierce Foss I have a little over 8k on my Falken Wildpeak AT3w and so happy I went with them. Nice look, grip, ride & looks( did I say looks) at a price everyone can love
Load and speed ratings would be nice to know on these. I’m running my 2nd set of Mickey Thompson mtz’s on my GMC Sierra 2500. 305/60/18 load range E. I got 50k out of my last set & only rotated twice. 1160$ mounted and balanced. Never had a nail puncture or leak in the 10 years I’ve been running them. Not sure I’d trust the other companies to do the same.
No general grabber at2's or falken at3w's? (Edit, realized you guys were doing 20" and not 17",18", etc. which might explain why they didn't stay under $1,000)

I think I'm getting the Atturo Trail Blade XT's, I've researched and there the best tires for mileage, daily driving, and some off-roading for the price lol.
What about Ironman AT or MT? They are cheaper than any of these and I haven't found many poor reviews. Any experience with these? For half the price of some of these they seem like a really good option.
I got a 2015 Sierra Denali with 22” rims, I got a 2in leveling kit and want some mud/aggressive tires. I would like to keep it under $1k. Any recommendations ? I love the Nitto Trail just a little too experience
