We have a Champion horse in are barn his name is Nation, the owner was 10 when she fell in love with him n' it took her 8yrs. to save up to buy him. Then she died for no reason. So the family found a share boarder n' Nation is still a Champion horse to this day... I know she would be so proud of her horse...Sometimes the way he acts I thinks she comes to be with him....LOVE from Chicago

It's the same temperature here that you have. Later this week our local forecast is for -18 degress C. To eliminate the matching socks problem, I only wear white ones and don't worry if the styles are mismatched. But I realize you can't do that with five males of different ages in your family. It's heartwarming to see Canthoz accept, without any fuss, Charlie's love hug and kisses. His ears twitch when you speak to him, Jennie. These video vignettes give me warm and fuzzy feelings. Inserting a clip of him in his heyday is a very special acknowledgement of the esteem you feel for this beautiful equine. Loved Madgik happily prancing in the paddock. Seeing the elderly Legends wearing their rugs brings to mind the horses I see in my neck of the woods similarly clad. Oskar Robin cuddled by his brothers is so special. Oh Jenny! I did have a bit of a giggle at the monster odd socks pile! I'm blessed with a really easy solution to this dilemma - my son, from a very early age, would only wear odd socks, and both of his daughters have followed in his footsteps. My son still wears odd socks, except for something very dressy! Watching Cantho is amazing, what a beautiful horse he is. Such a huge jump! Amazing to watch. All of the Legends are wonderful, and they look so snuggled up in their beautiful rugs. That was a truly great gesture, giving those rugs for them. Seeing your boys all cuddled up together is so heartwarming, you really are a magical family. Hope the temperature rises a bit for you, we're dealing with unseasonably wet and windy weather here in New Zealand at the moment. Terrible storms and loss of life for the past few days. It's supposed to be summer! Much love and big hugs xxx
When my 4 children were all at home, we had so many mismatched socks. Now it’s just me and my husband and he still manages to have rando solo socks - I don’t know how he does it. Jenny! I bought a genius idea from Amazon that eliminated all the odd socks … a mesh bag with a draw strings. You load them all in the washing machine and then just move over the the dryer. Life changer! Saves so much time… I even use mine for sweaters so they don’t twist out of shape and on gentle cold cycle.

Wow Cantho cleared those jumps so easily and the stamina he had was amazing. No wonder he’s a champion legend. Funny enough I just paired up all my socks as I only wear black ones in winter and that was really confusing and it took me hours to sort so I know what you are going through😂your boys are very loving towards each other and Oskar is lucky to be blessed with your family. Thanks for the interesting and fun video to watch. We are experiencing unbearable heat here in Western Australia as our summers are really hot and it’s been weeks of between 32 and 39 celcius. It limits your activity outside and you just need to stay indoors with the air conditioning on all the time. Only swimming in a pool is comfortable dipping in and out and even the beach is too hot really. I just hate it so give me the chilly weather anytime. 🙂

This is so lovely. Those Legends have excellent caregivers. Baby Oscar asleep with his siblings is precious. I am the second oldest of 8 and have similar fond memories. It is cold this way, too, like your place. I almost wish it would snow to warm up a little. I still have my xmas decorations up. I keep saying, I will take them down tomorrow. Seriously, January is a dreary month, and I am just easing into 2023, so the xmas lights help keep me cheery. It's not the same for my hubby! He is fed up with the decorations. Wow, that is a lot of odd socks. They still make good xmas gifts, though! Maybe you can make teddy bears or puppets with the socks you can't match. I love your family and all of the animals. Thank you for the magic.

Not Daddy Moon , this is one of Cantho s former riders, he had many , he came here to retire a couple of years ago, we have never ridden him , his hung up his riding shoes now, he deserves it 🌙

Loved the snuggle picture. My Grandaughter had three boys, she puts the Clean socks in a basket and the kids just choose the ones they want to wear. Not always matching, but they don’t care. Makes me crazy 😅
How many sheep live with you? Do you shear them and use their fleece? I am a spinner and knitter here in Canada 🇨🇦and I know from experience that it’s the best fibre to keep us warm!
Jenny, pair as many of the socks as you can, and get rid of the rest. No one needs more than a few pairs of socks. Less is more. Less for you to be concerned about. The same with all of the clothes, toys, etc. Just a thought.

You could use a sock bag where everyone puts there soks in then tie ut shut and they stay together. Sock washing bags exist 😊
