So excited to find this video!!! Just hung my Vigda track and was planning on using some older IKEA curtains and they will not work. Soooo happy to find this fix as I live hours from an IKEA store.
Number one - yes, the idea is great and mmmm damn... I was just holding that box in my hands today before I saw your video and put it back on the shelf...🤭 Now I have to go back to Ikea to get the hooks. Number two - the best part for me was that final screwing of the end cap...I had no idea how to place my triple curtain cap on the edge. So double thank you for your work🙌

I love Ikea too, but I also noticed a lot of their products are Ikea-specific. I purchased a twin bed years ago and realized standard twin sheets dont fit exactly right. I imagine, standard curtains wouldn't line up properly with their tracks and I'm glad you confirmed. I'm glad you made a curtain-specific video, I didn't really need to know how to hang (but thanks for clarifying that wasn't this kind of video in the beginning. :)
Hello, i am excited! I have been looking for a way to hang regular curtains on a track that is built in under a valance in my apartment. Pinch pleated curtains are so expensive and i could actually use ikea curtains with the clips that you used! What a relief! I am so grateful for the time you took to find a way to do this! hi love Ikea has buying guides that give you details of what you need to purchase for their systems....so you get exactly what you want and the accessories they require. but yes this is a great way to hang other types of curtains. thanks for sharing.
