I just purchased the MAG 340 in Kryptec and I can’t wait to shoot it. I have the Bulldog 440 and I love that bow but I wanted something I could use in a small blind or in the tree stand. It’s a little hard to use my Bulldog in a tight blind as the limbs are extremely wide but if I’m just dug in somewhere without any walls I’m fine. I also have spot and stalked with no problems with the Bulldog 440. I would imagine the MAG 340 would make it much easier. You shoot well, that last shot was in the bullseye so don’t be too hard on yourself. No one is perfect and an inch or two isn’t going to matter when you shoot at a Buck/Doe/Hog/Bear. You shot would have killed anything but I would not use the 340 on a large grizzly bear though. I’ve shot an 800lbs bear with my Bulldog and it was a complete pass through. I’m not so sure that 340FPS would get you a pass through on a 800lbs monster. It may still kill it with a well placed shot but it would most likely run a fair distance before it would fall for the last time. Good job on your video!

The triggers suck on our Excaliburs. First upgrade you need to do is a trigger

just curious if this model has loosened up at all after use? I hear the TD models tend to loosen up a bit after use.

If you mean screws coming loose, no I haven’t had that issue. If you mean the strings stretching, that’s normal and why this crossbow is so great. Very easy to maintain. You don’t have to take it to a shop.
