Ok dear tnk u for calling my attention to where you are still confused. I will gladly answer that.
First you should know that they are both endoparasites of both man and other animals. But since we are talking about agriculture which is the science of rearing animals and cultivating crops, it's best to narrow it down by saying they are endoparasites of domestic animals. We have different species of tapeworm e.g Taenia solium is found in pigs, and Taenia saginata is found in cattle . But in the life cycle the adult stage is found in humans,so when infected humans pass stool containing the matured proglottid to the ground from where the pig or cattle feed,they pick up these parasites and then it get to the intestine of the animals where the digestive enzyme will diges and release and from the intestine the parasite moves to bloodstream by passing through the intestinal wall and finally resides in the muscle or heart of the animal, so when humans eat undercooked or raw pork or beef,they get infected.
The ascaris is elongated, cylindrical which is pointed at both ends, while tapeworm is flattened like a taspe with very small head,neck and long segmented body.
Also thesame goes for the tick,it is an ectoparasite of domestic animals especially those with furs.
