It's disgusting what these politicians and major media outlets do to the minds of their supporters. I don't fault this woman and it's easy to see her heart is in the right place.
God, my mom is just like this woman. She voted for Hillary, thinks women would never start wars, and thinks she's doing something virtuous voting for the first black woman president. You try to explain to her any kind of nuance, and she shuts down the conversation. You try telling her that Kamala is will just do more evil and she'll say that we gotta vote for the lesser of evil. Round and round we go.
I have a ton of empathy for this woman and felt like I was listening to my mom speak. And she actually made some good points and just doesn’t understand that both candidates are equally complicit in just about everything once distanced from the divisive rhetoric. Really appreciate these two men for just being patient and giving her the space to speak without judgement. I think a great lesson in this video is simply having respect for each other even when we disagree.

I have followed a handful of channels and Hasan, Marc, Majority Report and Breaking Points aren't covering these important issues at all like Flint and East Palestine, or the chemical explosion in GA. Of course the genocide is also important and other channels are covering that. But that doesn't mean there aren't other important things going on to understand. I need to deeper dive into Sudan and Haiti also. Hasan introduced me to the US relationship with Cambodia during the Vietnam War, which is an interesting topic. And Chevron polluting Ecuador is horrendous. Chevron having more power around the world than the president of the United States is unacceptable.
