I agree. I think he would. There was definitely something about The Blue Margarets. However, overall I suspect he'd be scathing about Beatle tributes as a whole. We know he could be brutal on occasion.
Unfortunately The Blue Margarets will not, can not, ever be again. However, the group containing two of them (Hips) are billed to play at the International Beatleweek in Liverpool this very weekend. Unfortunately (despite reading their events guide) I cannot work out when, but live gigs from that weekend are being posted on-line as I write so hopefully something new from these ladies will appear any minute.
