Is there a way to convert an entire function of r and theta into a function of x and y or is that something we have to do manually first, and then put the new x,y function into the software?
+17joren did you find a way to do this? I need to plot a polar for loudpseaker directvity, but need to tweak certain individual points to make the plot look more appealing
+jazzunk Sorry I can't remember this instant, but I'll check my files later tonight (morning now) because I might've gotten it. Try searching it on Google tho, there may be a forum with it.
thank you sir......very nice explanation.. I have a doubt.. how to do polar plot in clock wise increment. ? I mean, I want to do polar plot from north do eastward increment.... how to do it in matlab???
What the hell is this resolution man? Are you running matlab on your calculator or what? :(
yoooo lmao
This was made in 2010
The resolution is not good, but it was really helpful for me! specially the first introduction part!! Thanks!
Another fantastic, clear, thoughtful, well presented tutorial from you. Thank you.
thanks for a video that is recorded by a toaster.

hi nice video,
If you converted polar to Cartesian and wanted to plot the Cartesian points would you just use plot(x,y)?
Is there a way to plot individual points? I am measuring the radiation of an antenna at specific angles, where r is the magnitude of radiated power.

that would be awesome! I am looking for info about it anyway, and thx for your quick reply!
+jazzunk Yeah, np at all. Message me if you figure it out!
+jazzunk my old laptop with matlab is being fucky, but I may still be able to give advice. What exactly are you trying to do?
well explained video, however, I have a problem with plotting my function r = 1/cos(theta), any idea?

good explanation. just a shame that I couldn't read with that low a resolution
thank you sir!!
thanks, very useful tutorial,
Please upload the higher pixel video, anyways thanks for it.
mind blown
You are excellent and helpful, but stop zooming in and out. specially this tutorial of polar coordinates tutorial ought to be redone again. cheers
I can't even see what you are doing on the screen
this is what my dead grandmother sees when she watches a 4k video
I couldn't see anything.
he zooms when he wrote something. it was clear for me.
Speed of talking could be slowed down so people don’t have to rewind and replay what you just said. ☹️
pixel level is to low
