I love the way you describe things with so much detail! I've never been able to explain why I love brown so much and you did it effortlessly. Really appreciate your content!
Lindsey! I’ve been following you for like 5 years now and I just wanna take a moment and say that it’s amazing seeing your growth and journey as a person and a creator. You’ve always been a huge inspiration to me and a role model, for fashion, lifestyle, music, etc. You seem more at peace and sure of yourself and I love that for you! ❤❤
omg i used to live in portland!! you have to thrift on Hawthorne. there are thrift stores/ vintage stores down the whole block. my favorite coffee shop is Flying Cat (lots of vegan options)!!!!
Omg i just went to Portland a few months ago and they have some of the best Vegan spots! Some recs: - Blossoming Lotus (for weekend brunch!) - Off the Griddle (also great brunch!) - Bamboo Sushi - Salt & Straw (good dairy free ice cream) - Tov Coffee (coffee shop in a double decker bus) - Underbite Soups & Sandwiches (food truck!) - Food Fight! (all vegan grocery store!!)
I wish you did more sit down chatty videos! I like just hearing you talk :) so comfy! Also, you're gonna LOVE portland, wow! The thrift shopping is unmatched! SE Hawthorne Blvd, definitely a cute place to walk with some coffee and shop
So many PDX recommendations don’t even know where to start! Best vegan food in the whole city is at a bar called Bye & Bye. Try the brussel sprout & tofu bbq bowl, the meatball sandwich, mac& cheese, chili pie or the peanut broccoli bowl. It’s literally all delicious. Also Sweet Pea Bakery for breakfast sandwiches and other vegan breakfast goodies. Best vintage is House of Vintage on Hawthorne. It’s a little on the pricier side but I always get something when I go.
If you're going to Portland in January then you definitely have to check out Salt & Straw because their 5 flavors of the month are all vegan for Veganuary!
flourish food truck in st john’s in portland is one of my faves! they are vegan & have so many gf options!! also sissy’s beverages is right beside it & she’s originally from ok so i have to shout out the oklahomies
Ohh a Portland trip, how fun. I'd recommend Harlow (vegan and vegetarian cuisine), The Dragonfly Coffee House and also Doe Donuts (Small, wood-lined shop offering handcrafted vegan donuts in classic & creative flavors.) Also don't forget to visit Powell's Books if you have time :)
I would recommend you stay at one of the McMenamins Historical Hotels. They have one that’s a converted schoolhouse and the Edgefield one is on a huge property it’s like a unique resort. They are some of the most unique hotels I’ve stayed at and have so much interesting art in them.
Fun fact: you can register your pet as an emotional support animal and then when you rent, the apartment or home cannot deny you even if your pet is a “restricted breed” and they have to waive your pet registration fees for renters!
