Being a year late, I have been riding an rs125 for 2 years in the past and it was hella fun. I had a 160 rear tyre and it was sick. At high speeds you can just engine brake into third gear and enter the corner. Honestly if you get this bike and don’t play corner, you basically got the wrong bike. For beginners who just passed their license, I recommend you try to rent or if possible get a friend to lend you their bike to try. This is not your typical 2B bike where you can easily play around. My power valve opens fully at 7k rpm and you can really feel the kick (more than the super 4’s vtec). All in all, if you want to feel like the king of the road with a 2b bike and you want to attract ALOT of attention, this is the perfect bike for you. Cheers!
Rode an rs125 for 2 years, idk if it was cursed but i always fell every 6 months 😅. But i still loved it and i miss it so much. Had it scrapped last year nov cause i lost my job and couldn't afford the coe 😭
to compare 2-stroke to 4-stroke bikes' power, double the HP. Means if it is a 125 CC 2-stroke bike, the power is plus minus equivalent to a 250 CC 4-stroke bike. That's why even though the CC is small, it is powerful. MotoGP during 2-stroke era only had 150, 250 & 500 CC classes. When it is changed to 4-stroke, the CC also changed.
Super good advice with the tank grips, i do that alot in the past and it really helps! Just wished there was someone who gave me advice before i had to suffer frequent arm cramps for many months. However on the tyre part, my rs125 rear is indeed 160 and a super 4 is 180. 150 and 160 is stock I believe because when i got both my rs125 and super 4 they were 160 and 180 respectively.
Mine got 🆙 a level, 140 cc italkit, 34 carb full arrows exhaust 17/40 sprockets 4 sec to 100 kmh 170 top its a 💥 total revision 4300 euros and it looks better then this one, only one problem no fuel meter and it needs lots off fuel
It's a beauty even for today standard. My colleague used to ride a silver one, not sure which version. I thought it was my dream bike. My first bike was MBX. I fell and broke my arm on it.
hope you're still planning to get it despite the coe hike. lol. it's definitely worth it. am riding one myself and down to pay the coe in a few month's time. keep the rs125 bikes living in our little red dot!
Overtime nobody will get used to it. Singapore is a city. Sportsbike on our roads just look ridiculous. Sports bike are for racing tracks. Its like getting F1 or Lambo but drive around Singapore at minimum speed HAHAHAHA
been riding a few bikes already, whatever class license you get, rs125 w the right suspension setting is still the best handling bike to play. trust

PS: With the right tunes and mods, you can gap 400cc riders like I did. Ultimately, ride safe ya *winky face
Thanks for sharing your experience. #2strokepower

for sport bikes you should grip more with the tank to take weight off the wrists.
and rs125 uses 150 rear tyre, super 4 is 160
