John Deere 3039R: Camera monitor placement & mounting system

I decided to move my rear camera monitor. I had looked for a bracket to mount this monitor around the front windshield. There is nothing really out there on the market that I could find.
I took apart the rear view mirror and discovered that the existing mounting bracket could be repurposed for my monitor with ease!
This is what I used the base from this cell phone holder kit as the base for the monitor. It worked perfectly with no modification. a.co/d/dcQMk6m
I used this t-slot for the back of the monitor. It's the 1" ball. a.co/d/cIKYR03
