    Modern Seaplanes - Return of a Legend: • Modern Seaplanes: Retu...
    In Donauwörth, Bavaria, rescue helicopters are being built at Airbus. In 2017, the ADAC has ordered eleven new H145 helicopters for air rescue - the emergence of one of these models is documented in this film. The innovative technology inside the helicopter is far from everything - as well as the skills of those who sit in the airplanes on the joystick and save lives with the equipment even in hard to reach areas.

    Mind blown! Thank you for posting! My niece is a CFRN and flies in an H135 in USA. I’m 99.999% German heritage with several US engineer ancestors and cousins…this doc makes me proud!

    A chopper rescue here in the USA would cost $50k minimum. Better have good insurance. Great video!!!

      @big_papa_lars Місяць тому +2

      Lucky we don't have to pay for the rescue, since our insurance is actually functional, and set up so that you wouldnt have to worry about the costs of these things. you'll probably never even see the bill unless you specifically ask for them

    Very interesting! The only thing I didn't like is the German being talked over in English, would be better to subtitle there.

      @UnknownUnknown-hg7xg 2 місяці тому +2

      Considering English is the universal language in almost all industries…and many people may understand English but can’t read English so it’s better suited to dub rather than sub in English.

      @@UnknownUnknown-hg7xg we Dutch hate dubbing, we never to that to even films. It is very annoying especially if one speaks/understands multiple languages.

      I agree. It's culturally disrespectful, whether the dubbing is complete or incomplete (original voicing removed or not.) However, subtitling is less popular now because people have become too lazy to read.

      @@JP-xd6fm When used in a model number like BMW 325, the 747 is the "seven four seven" not "seven hundred forty serven."
      The H145 is the H one four five. That's how it works with helicopters.
      Hint: what you learned in school applies to numbers, not model numbers.

    Amazing machine, but good lord is it expensive. Wish it showed more technical detail about the building aspect of it. We need less drama in modern content.

      Except when their is a problem. Hard heads swear that they never make a mistake. We had a $5,000 pre stretched metric chain for s German $10 million.dollar custom made in Germany machine. Rather then believe the three different machnists tell them thier chain was stretched unevenly the spent over a $1,200 to fly in a mechanic from Germany. Took him two minutes to exam thier chain and admit it was bad. Same thing with expensive custom made German gearboxes.
