Thank you so much for coming along on this journey with us. We can’t wait to explore East Malaysia. We’ve heard so many great things and excited to explore other parts as well. Malaysia is so diverse and the variety in all things is incredible 😍🙌🙌💛
Hope that you guys have had a great time with your road trip in some places in the peninsular Malaysia. What a wonderful adventure. Hope also that you guys have had a great time and a pleasant stay in Langkawi.
Actually you guys can continue your road trip adventure to Langkawi, you guys can cross to Langkawi with your rented car on a ferry. In Langkawi, you need to rent either a scooter or car for explorations.
We had an amazing time doing the roadtrip across Malaysia. Thanks for the suggestion of being able to take the car across on a ferry. We didn’t know that. We definitely rented a scooter and circled the Island. It’ the best feeling ever having your own bike 🛵💨
@WeWanderlustCo Wonderful. Scooter is also a good way to explore Langkawi. There are ferries from Penang, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis. But during the pandemic and lockdown, some of them didn't operate, and I'm not sure which one of them still operate. I know this from a really good friend of mine who took his car to Langkawi via Kuala Perlis Jetty and stayed on the island for more than a year. I visited him on my 3rd trip to Langkawi. On my first trip, I took a bus from KL to Kuala Perlis Jetty, and took a ferry to Langkawi. The journey was mesmerizing as the ferry passed along clusters of beautiful small islands. On my second trip, I did a road trip from KL, park the car at Kuala Perlis Jetty and cross over to the island by ferry. On my third trip to Langkawi, I took a plane from KLIA2. All were a very good trip especially the third one. You guys, have a great weekend. 😀
@WeWanderlustCo I hope you guys don't mind sharing my little experience. Do you guys believe in coincidence? After leaving KLCC, I joined MIDA, a government investment agency, hoping sincerely for a posting to Europe, but that didn't happen. So what was the coincidence. On my 2nd trip to Langkawi, I went for a cable car ride, wanted to cross over on the skybridge but it was blocked by a Bollywood filming. Little did I know, few years later, I got my posting, not to Europe as prayed, but to Mumbai, a city that didn't provide a conducive environment to broaden my horizon. Oh well, that's my story. Told that to some others that did a content in Langkawi, hehe, sorry. 😀
