Description
In this retro adventure, step into the whimsical shoes of JESTER, the King's fool, on a mission to collect Element items hidden in the heart of dungeons. Navigate through dark corridors, unlock rooms with keys, and defeat guards with a mighty Sword to secure bonus items. But beware, time is of the essence as torches flicker, illuminating your path in the race to gather items and keys before the dungeons' shadows consume you. Relive the magic of classic gameplay with JESTER, a tribute to the lost treasures of Videoway's gaming era.
Features
Collect all of the Element items in this multi-room dungeon.
Adventure to find the KEY that opens the lock that leads to an Element item.
Secure your Sword to defeat the guards. Kill all four to collect a bonus item!
Don't let your torch run out or be forced to find your way in darkness.

That cart design for the NES is sweet! Too bad the SNES version couldn't get the same treatment.
I never thought I’d see a videoway remote again, I lost so many hours playing Jester, Boycott and War it’s unreal.
Which one was Boycott again?
@@fnstyle Boycott was a game about drugs. We had to avoid Cigarette, alchool, syringe etc.

I really can't wait for Collectorvision to produce more Videoway games! 😁So many other good games on this system will be lost forever if you don't remake them. Bought my jester NES and SNES cartridges on day 1. 😉

I will have to lookout for that game; looks fun. PS looking back on one of your older videos about video games and guns. What gets me is that Cars, Small Appliances, Lwan Mowers, Bathtubs, Wood Working Tools, and Box Cutters to name an few. Kill more popole than guns do and thier's no callout to band them.
This is so a nostalgic game for me! I played a lot to this game! The cart design for NES is very beautiful! Sad that i Can't afford 209 for this model. I preorder the regular version with box.

in the province of quebec back in the day there were 2 major telephone/tv services compagnies. Bell (telephone lines) and Videotron (cable). By law they cannot offer a service from the other: bell cannot sell cable services and videotron cannot use telephone lines. Since the mid 90s technology gave big competition between them because now tv can be send via telephone lines with satellite and now videotron can sell telephone via cable or satellite. Every compagnyies other than bell and videotron has to choose between bell and videotron's "lines". Exemple: virgin uses bell lines and rogers uses videotron's. Videoway was the only cable box late 80s that quebecers could use. Bell didnt offer tv services before late 90s (sympatico) so every cable customers had a videotron videoway with all those games. (videotron was very proud of being the first one in the world to offer online services and games) (news, meteo, paying bills, games, tv schedule etc)

Does it even have the story/plot from the original game? Also, the name back then was known as King's Jester. Should mention, you pronounced the french name of the game correctly.
