I gave away my water dragon's bride recently too as I didn't enjoy the story as much as I thought i would! It does hurt me alittle to get rid books haha! love watching unhauls though, I love hearing about how people have come to change their opinions about series they own!
The art was beautiful but I just felt like I was mostly flicking through a series of art books without much of a story. The content in a few volumes was decent but maybe not enough to hold on to it.
I'm still trying to sell my manga on Facebook marketplace. It was going okay for a bit, but then people wanted to buy like 20+ manga at a time and were turned off by the price and shipping. I mean, of course it's going to cost a lot if you buy 30+ manga! I was already selling them at cheaper than I got them for, and it only makes sense that a heavier parcel is going to cost £10+! So many time-wasters on Facebook marketplace imo....... Sorry, I just felt the urge to vent! 🤣 Good luck with your unhaul! I am interested in Otomen, but it's not something I'm seeking actively to add to my collection at the moment.
Yeah there are always people who basically expect you to give it away for free. I have managed to sell about half of the unhaul so far but it’s a lot of work arranging it all 😂
congrates on ripping off the plaster. the wound will heal and you'll feel so much better with the extra space and money. I was hoping you were going to sell off your Maid Sama Omnibuses haha (i want them T_T )

@@AmberDanceStep honestly can’t say that I didn’t like it but I definitely didn’t love it. I had high expectations because I loved Dawn of the Arcana and was hoping for a similar kind of series but just didn’t get that vibe. It’s certainly not a bad series and it might be something you really enjoy! Don’t let other peoples opinions put you off before you try it 😊

Thanks so much! I mostly shop on Blackwells and Books Please (sometimes Amazon) for new manga and I also shop in store and online at Forbidden Planet and Travelling Man. I buy a lot secondhand on Vinted and Facebook Marketplace. Also there is a UK based Manga selling page on Facebook that I pick stuff up on. I am based in England so these are the best places I have going to but manga. I hope this helps!

I picked them up years ago from Waterstones and Amazon. I think they are available in a few stores but some volumes seem to be out of stock right now. I think they are reprinting the series so all i can say is keep looking 🤞🏻

Currently reading "The Water Dragons Bride" and honestly I really do enjoy it. It's definitely not for everyone but I do like it a lot. Yes there isn't that much dialogue but sometimes too much is definitely too much. Either way maybe re-read it before getting rid of it.
