Simple Forces in Equilibrium Problem 2

Video tutorial to the following problem as part of the E4011 Statics and Dynamics Simple Mechanisms Module:
"Determine the tension developed in wires CA and CB required for equilibrium of the 10-kg cylinder. Take θ = 40°."

U should convert the mass into newtons first by multiplying it with gravity

Hi porksr,
That's correct, to convert from mass to weight you need to multiply by acceleration due to gravity. This is what's meant by '10g' in the tutorial, where g=9.8m/s^2.
