I would say the rahu transit was very relevant to me during the AD of rahu and if I were to read my chart making the dasha lord my lagna the placement of rahu became very true during that period.

yes, these are predictions for everyone irrespective of MD or AD the person is running. The respective MD and AD is another layer you need to add on top of this generic effect of the transit mentioned in this video.
