At time of posting, it's showing as 2 weeks ago. I wonder if the video was "unlisted" (only available to those with a link) until being made public "date published"?
The 444 450 350 And 360 are desiro emus but they make a different traction motor sounds great eastern and Heathrow express have the 360 desiro lnwr have the 350 desiro and south western railway have the 444 and 450 units
Impressive I was wondering when this would be available now as soon as it arrives via Train Pictures Website I can grab a copy although from Cleethorpes to Doncaster is featured in my Train simulator 2010 PC Game albeit as it was in the 70's
Pete Berry ah so you created that route for TS2010 in that case you done a fantastic job particularly with those lovely semaphore signals and the level crossings
This must be one of the most unpunctual services in Britain. I regularly use it between Scunthorpe and Doncaster, Sheffield or even Manchester. It is invariably late at some point or other. Sometimes an annoying few minutes, sometimes a hopeless many minutes or even cancelled. It started with the May 2018 timetable change. It has improved slightly but is still poor. Only 3 carriages even though peak services are often rammed full.
No professional photographer would ever shoot through a window, but unfortunately we have no choice when filming a Driver's eye view. We are not permitted to clean windows when beneath overhead electric wires other than leaning across from a platform. If the train doesn't stand in an offside platform then even that is not an option. So we are then down to the windscreen wiper performance. We also have to consider the availability of a Driver Manager to accompany us in the cab which is mandatory also for safety reasons. If he or she is only available early in the morning then we have no choice but to go with it and in this case the sun (which we also like to have to light the scenery) may also fall directly on the windscreen. That was the case this time. We would have like to have gone later but we would have missed a beautiful day. It is not easy, we did THREE cab shoots in total. As soon as we start doing more than 70 mph, bugs start hitting the screen - especially when the sun is out - a classic catch 22 situation.
It will be a fantastic watch for people when they buy the DVD or download. It will be very worth buying for some fantastic views from the Drivers Cab.
Thank you For put up this Video. This Look great
omg how can you send a comment 3 weeks ago from a 1 minute old video?!

The 185 is part of the desiro family but the 185 is not an emu it’s a dmu and transpennine express owned the 185s
what do 2 reds mean if they don't mean stop at 2.19?
They're yellow but I guess the camera picked them up as a slightly more orange-red colour. They indicate the next but one signal is at Danger.

DKS225 could of done with this as a reference point when I built the route for Trainz sim 2010 🙂

FIRST transpanne express sometimes runs from Manchester to cleethrope
2:38~3:14 - Wouldn't you think they'd clean the cab window of smears/dirt/grime/bird shit before the filming begins?
