- Scott Drummond died on the operating table. He was dead for 20 minutes. His doctor even filled out a death certificate. During this time he first watched what was happening in operating room and then was escorted to Heaven. He describes the beautiful experience he had in Heaven - what he saw, what he felt, and who he met. He also tells us about his life review and how this experience completely changed his life. Scott is a humble, kind, and generous soul and he shares a beautiful story.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Scott Drummond is a really wonderful man. I am also very grateful he shared his story. What a blessing!
Great interview so far. I'm looking forward to part two. It seems the selfishness with which he perceived his earlier life was perhaps a defense mechanism borne from not feeling or not recognizing the love present in his formative years. Such de-sensitivity was perhaps culturally conditioned, particularly in the sense of his being a male athletic over-achiever with its corresponding burden of cultural expectations. The transformative nature of his NDE seems (so far) to be mainly in the concrete demonstration that love is the core of meaning in all experience, the 'gold' he was seeking all along (ref. the gold hue to the leaves, flowers and grass, symbolic of their source in Love).

@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch I also think that arm reaching out from the cloud was also symbolically significant, since judging from his narrative of his earlier life, what may have prevented him recognizing the true nature of love in his life was his machismo, his drive to 'make his own way', that whole mindset. What that arm showed him was that true Love is not weak, it was stronger than him, in other words, it was intended that he make that comparison, again, showing him in a concrete way the truth of the matter.
Revelation 21:21
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
