They were 12 trainees (13 if we count I.M that was added later to the show) and they were all ranked being number 1 the best trainee and number 12 the "worst". The rank changed each episode. At the end Monsta X's members were chosen by judge and audicence votes. I recommend you to watch the survival if you are interested in Monsta X.

honestly i agree with people that these two are the biggest and most shippable ship ever. However, Gun and Jooheon should not debut together under the same group. - If they do, the rest will never be able to shine because this is one massive ship itself - Gun is not prepared yet, he still needs time to grow. Strictly speaking in this perf, Jooheon is better and Gun sorta supported Jooheon and made him shine more. Jooheon has a more stable voice - do notice two - three times Gun's voice actually gave way and cracked a little because his voice couldn't keep up with the intensity he was trying to portray. However, Gun is able to portray more emotions using his voice and his puns / rhymes are actually (sound) super super good. While Jooheon's voice is raw power and psychotic form of sarcastic. - Both are loveably psychotic. - As i feel, Gun needs more time to work on his vocal strength and when he does he will rise and debut with a boom (preferably as a soloist eheh)

The judges were being harsh on him and said that he's not a good rapper and his rap is 'old fashioned'. Yet he's always passionate and trying his best to make his family proud. at the last episode when he got eliminated i can't help but cry and feel bad for him. It was his goal to debut with Jooheon. They have a very nice chemistry even though they have different rapping styles. But don't get me wrong, I love Monsta X the way it is rn and I know rn #GUN is a solo rapper but really, it's such a shame. Can't Monsta X have 8 members lmao. I watched No.Mercy right after falling in love with Monsta X especially Jooheon and I.M. But this performance was damn perfect and I was like just... why Starship why? But then I understood everything. Jooheon is versatile, he could both, he was really comfortable with everything, but not #Gun, he just could't be in the idol group. It's still okay with Trespass or Rush, which are more hip hop, but with Hero and then with Beautiful... It was just good for him to debut as soloist but it feels like he needs more promo. Also back then Jooheon said that they really wanted to work together on something but they don't really had time. Long time ago Wonho said that he wanted a sub-unit like NuBoyz. I watched No.Mercy right after falling in love with Monsta X especially Jooheon and I.M. But this performance was damn perfect and I was like just... why Starship why? But then I understood everything. Jooheon is versatile, he could both, he was really comfortable with everything, but not #Gun, he just could't be in the idol group. It's still okay with Trespass or Rush, which are more hip hop, but with Hero and then with Beautiful... It was just good for him to debut as soloist but it feels like he needs more promo.
Also back then Jooheon said that they really wanted to work together on something but they don't really had time. Long time ago Wonho said that he wanted a sub-unit like NuBoyz. I hope it will come one day
One of the greatest duo out there. It a shame that they dont get to debut together, although I understand that GUN is not really for groups. Why? He's unique in his owny way, he's way better than what Madclown is saying. But i admit he really cant dance. But at least i want a collab from these two like MOBB. They would be fuckin lit🔥

If i were to rank, i think Superbee might be ousted and Cjamm, Bewhy are tbh neck-to-neck. So far Cjamm and Bewhy's producer teams have been giving high quality track that are crazily topping charts. It all comes down to who can up the previous performance another level and continue to impress.

When Monsta X has promoted for a good while (maybe 3-4 years after their debut) I feel like Jooheon & #GUN could totally be a duo unit & release music like this. I'd also love to see a collaboration with Jooheon & #GUN & I.M. also. those 3 would totally slay on the same track since they're all talented. either way much love to both!
