Power Inverters are DC to AC converters and this cool little circuit is is really classified as a Push-Pull transformer coupled DC to DC converter. It works good, but just not as an inverter however, it's 300V output could be used as a front end to make a little inverter.

With a winding ratio of 80:5+5 and a ZVS driven with 12v (output volt peak being about 3x12v=36v), shouldn't the FWB output capacitor be more than 450v?....since a no-load situation may be significantly higher than 450v?? THANKS FOR THE GREAT VIDEO!!!

Frequency should be fairly non-critical - best to start high, and turn it down a little for more power, stop when things start to overheat and go back up a little - turns RATIO should be easy to calculate... In the video i see 5turn + 5 turn primary - 80 turn secondary
