      Praises to you for using cloth diapers. What people are doing to this planet with all the disposable everything is appalling. What they also don't realize is there are likely chemicals that have been used in producing the materials lining those disposable diapers they then put right on their baby's skin. And skin absorbs whatever is on it. I know some people who can't be bothered doing dishes anymore either. Their much too busy (you know, being on their phones/tablets all the time and scoping social media or reading romance novels all the live long day - but surely these activities leave no room to do things properly - like dishes. So trashing the planet and deforesting her of oxygen-giving trees has become the theme of the last several years.) But hey, who needs to live in a clean environment or breathe? Surely what's on social is far more important than any of that. (sarcastic tone here)

There are cheaper ones if you don't mind a cold brisk cleansing of that area and only attach to the cold water supply line. So much cleaner rather than wiping over and over to ensure no residue is left after #2.

She said in a video she puts an ointment on her starfish after getting out of the shower. I don't remember the video title, so I don't know if she named a brand. It's like pressure washing your under carriage. Just left with a bit of water to dry off. At home, use your towel - away, use a little cloth 4 that purpose. No need to buy ANYTHING. In India, we use jet sprays. Its just a small attachment on the side of the commode. You do not need a separate seat / commode to clean. Very economical. Just under 5-7 US Dollars here in india.
    Using water is more hygienic & healthy as a paper wont ever clean 100%. And since its dry, bacteria & germs make the anus area worst with bad smell & infections.
    Use a water jet spray or a bidet fitting. it’s definitely more hygienic. Every person in India, be it poor or the rich, uses water to clean the butt.
    Its more safer, hygienic & cleaner than using a paper. Once you get used to water, believe me you wont ever go back to use a toiler paper.
    Use water, say no to infections

    lol, so better don't have an apple skin :-) I've spent some time in India and got to know the water method there. When I came back I experimented a bit and imho all you need if you want to apply the water method on a Western toilet is an empty dish soap bottle. Not one with a pump dispenser, but one of those simple ones with pop out caps. It gives you exactly the controlled water jet you need. One doesn't need to spray the water upwards. In India people simply use a plastic mug.

    • @Eowyn77
      @Eowyn77 2 роки тому

      @@SarahlabyrinthLHC they simply use a plastic mug to pour the water. Classic Indian toilets are constructed differently, you use them in a squatting position. On a Western style toilet I prefer a dish soap bottle because it's easier to control where the water goes. With a plastic mug I always have some water drops on the toilet seat, which isn't really a big problem, as it's clean water that has been spilled to the sides without having touched anything yet, so it's not a hygiene problem, but still it needs to be cleaned up afterwards.

    I Don't use toilet paper because I always get paper burns so I use baby wipes. And one of these will give some extra cleaning.

    Use a bottle, shampoo, etc where one side of the lid snaps open allowing for aiming to the area.

      Great idea. Just use the flip top lid on the bottle of your choice.

    Also cloth wipes/ rags work well too. Just buy a large hanging wet bag generally used for cloth diapers. (Easily found on amazon.) You can put your cloth wipes through a bleach wash and use them over and over. 😊 Bidet would be my last resort even though it works well.

    I have one, I use it whenever I travel. There are still places, even in the western world, where you can't flush toilet paper because of the antiquated sewage systems or plumbing. (you have to wipe and put it in a tiny trash can with everyone else's)
    Also check out the RinseWorks hand-held bidet for having a permanent home option. You'll definitely save on toilet paper.

    Yes, toilet paper takes alot of space. Why not a bidet, or family cloth ? Save space for other important preps. Be honest I was waiting for one of your spreadsheets. 🤣

    What about the peri bottles? They have an end that is kinda crooked (4am lack of a better word lol) so you get a better angle? At least that’s what it looks like to me. Idk tbh, never tried this. Thanks again for the laughs and the good content! 👍🏻
