Awesome Town but outrageously expensive. Prices are higher than she said taxes are a horror, lovely little town. Love Sharon lake
Thanks for your comment! Definitely a lovely town. At the time I made this video, that was that average home price based off of the current listings (not including taxes).

Hi, thanks for taking the time to watch my video! Cobbs Corner is not in Sharon although it is very close by in the town of Canton. Definitely a great spot to check out for anyone residing in a nearby town though!

READ THIS: The Sharon Schools are always said to be amazing, but they can actually be really foul schools.
If your child is (more than slightly) above or below the average, they just won't get proper education. The gifted kids don't get enough challenge, and the below average kids get infantilized.
If your child is autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, THEY WILL TREAT YOUR CHILD HORRIBLY. This is coming from A LOT of personal experience and observation. The kids in the sped/ASD programs are either infantilized, or if they have a bit of "attitude" (like I did), then they are borderline abused. Think being literally tossed in a non-padded cubicle with staff holding karate shields at the entrance. They also use ABA "therapy", which is very mentally (and sometimes physically) abusive and has been shown to cause lasting trauma/PTSD. One time my arm got twisted nearly out of my socket BY STAFF MEMBERS during a scuffle (there are non-harmful ways to restrain people)!
If you need more proof, reply below and I can hook you up with quite a few people that can tell you about what happened to them.
As a student who graduated in 2021 (very recently) I can say that they are very very helpful both with social emotional support along with academics obviously, I was in a program that supported me having ADHD. If you really would like to learn about contact head of special education Brian White, I will straight up give you contact not just "quite a few people" just because you and your friends had your own issues does not mean every student acts like you.
So I've spoken with multiple people from the district since I posted that comment, including Brian White and Jessica Murphy. Seems like the district has done a lot of work to improve since I was there, including me going in to talk to Jessica soon about some issues. So yay it's improving I guess
