Game is too slow now. Literally you can't do shit with the ball for more than 5 secs without ur stamina bar being drained. Best game= 2k18 Graphics;2k15/16 Sliders & speed;2k17 dribbling
Loved the dribbling from this game. There was more control on the right stick and you were a little more in charge of your actions. Not so reliant on the left trigger. Really miss creeping up with the right stick
Im new to 2k i actually came from call of duty and this month iv just learnt more and more even to shoot more consistent but always fount 0 videos on dribble help cause the youtubers think that there audience are just people that have played tru the 2k series so this is a great help cause the hole dribbling thing is key and this explains every move in the book instead of majority here are my dribble moves but the combo help for it is poor good stuff man
Awesome man thank you! Just bought NBA 2K18, new to the series as well as to the NBA. Newly found love, this helped me so much getting started! Liked and subscribed 🤙
You forgot the *step-back off the drive*. (when driving R2/RT) [crossover] + [LStick away from defender]+[release R2/RT] The player will do the crossover while stepping back to create space. It also works like this: (when driving R2/RT) [crossover] + [LStick neutral]+[release R2/RT] , but this way can fail sometimes so the first way is safer. Also the *jab step spins*. (when in triple threat) [RStick towards pivot foot] and then [R stick half/quarter circle either way].
Great video, the only thing that I disagree with is that Shake seems to think that breaking ankles was easier in 2k17. I think dribbling is much more effective this year when done right.
Shake your vids are dope. I'm a trainer, in real life, get at me if you want, so we can apply legit terms to these moves and put together a vernacular, not just call things "hesi's". You got lateral bounds, drops, skip steps, all this stuff can help clarify moves and applications.
Yo shake! You can also do the Hop Jumper by holding sprint and holding down just a lil bit the R trigger and release before the shot animation if you want to continue dribbling. This avoid to accidentally fake shoot the ball.
18 is the first game in the series that i play, i never really played fifa, or madden or any sports game for that matter. BOI did i get frustrated the first time i started playing. i dont know, but i find the control really complicated and difficult to learn. and to remember even a fraction of the moves you can pull of is a real challenge for me
I mostly play Madden and would consider myself an advanced Madden player and novice 2k player who picks it up every few years. Will it take long to master these cross overs where they become natural?
Yo my man awesome video, just one question, how did you view Kyre Irvings signature moves? I've been trying to find this myself but cannot find anywhere to access this.
Time to finally get some sleep. Let me know if you guys want to see tutorials for everything else too this year. 👊🏿

This was really helpful because I did not do the spin move correct so I came here
You can just press R2 and hold down on the right stick to do the hop jumper this year.
You don't have to use square and the left stick downwards
Thanks bro, this helped me a whole lot 😀
The step back is deadly this year
Thank you I really appreciate doing the tutorial. I'm getting a lot better in dribbles so thanks. I'm a pro thanks to you.
