As a diyer who has done his own j35 front cam replacement(EGR studs were stuck so had to tear apart the coolant manifold) this is great, thanks! Also interesting to see a brand new motor torn down.
Big fan of HondaJ35 V6 engines... got four, all stock and original. Love watching your technique... deliberate but not abusive. The more I see these engines come apart and go back together, the more I respect Honda's engineering. You make it look easy!!!
Wow!!!! Thanks P2R for this demo…. I remembered the first time I disassembled the block I was getting frustrated trying to remove the caps…. Then I realised they had side bolts…. 😂.

I have a j30a1 in a 99 acoord is it worth modifying it or is it better to just swap the j32a2 type s to get more power? Its doesn't have the coil over system tho and is it gona be complicated to do the swap to the j32a2 coil over system
We haven't really looked much into the J30 blocks to be honest. So I cant answer this question at the moment; however, we have been getting a lot of J30 request recently. So I am planning to start diving deeper into the J30 platform.

I've got 5 blocks chillin,, I'm good a ruining them lol . Hopefully that's fixing to change. Whole car is finally getting re-wired top to bottom.
