  • Ryan Young School reviews:
    1. After attending other trials schools I was apprehensive about what benefit I may get from attending the Ryan Young Trials school. It only took 3 minutes with Ryan to surpass all other schools and by the end of the two days I was amazed at how much I had learned. Every technique from bike set up to splatter was explained in detail by Ryan, then he showed us the move several times before he observed each of us individually on every move and gave instruction. Having ridden for 20 years I thought I knew everything but was pleasantly surprised at how much I had to work on. Ryan explained things to me in a way that made sense and I wish I had this information long ago. I would highly recommend this school to ANYONE who rides Trials. I look forward to attending his school again in the future.

    2. There are many reasons to ride a Sherco: Great bikes, great parts support, expert maintenance advice without having to jump through hoops, and so on. But this Ryan Young class is why I recommend a Sherco to everyone. No other North American Trials importer does more than Ryan Young to support the Trials Bike Community and the ownership of a Trials Bike. He gives World Class instruction to all riders no matter their age, level of ability, or the brand of bike they show up on. Everybody gets personal attention and he can spot in a microsecond what your doing right or wrong. Easily in the top five teachers I have had in my life, just don't stop teaching. Big thanks to the host club in beautiful Alberta and Ryan Young.
    Sincerely, Tim
    3. Ryan Young School:
You would think after attending the Ryan Young School for 3 years in a row, I would have been seen everything that Ryan had to offer. Wrong. Every year there are new pearls of wisdom or a small subtle change in technique that Ryan throws at you that lets you get over the next hurdle. This year, Jap Zaps; next year splatters. As always, Ryan, thank you for another amazing course. Hope to see you next year.

    4. I really enjoyed the Ryan Young school I attended in Red Deer over the Labor Day weekend.
I've been involved and competing in trials for many years, and have quite a lot of experience, but it never hurts to both re-familiarize yourself with the basics and to learn something new. Ryan does a great job of explaining the sport of trials from the ground up.
Thank you to the the MTGA for organizing a fun and informative weekend.
    Chris
    5. The trials school was AWSOME I had lots of fun with Ryan as my teacher and meeting other riders. A big thanks to Ryan for teaching us it helped me improve a lot!!!!!

My wife, a brand new trials rider, would be terrified of that log. Then, next week she'd be ready to make the log her b!t@#. I love that about her!!! Watching her progress is too much fun

I organized or helped to organize Ryan Young schools in Canada and US. You could try to organized Ryan Young school in UK as well. It is doable: we brought to Canada Ryan, Jordi Pascuet and other club Dougie Lampkin and his brother as well as Jack Price. please contact Ryan at ryanyoungtrialsschools@gmail.com
Good luck. You may need 15-20 committed people and will to rich your goal.

im getting back into trials after a 30 year break..exercises for forearms please.

squeeze soft ball or hand spring with different tension or you can get something similar from rehab store with individual finger tensioner. General stretches for flexor and extensor to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. stick and attach ion the centre rope. Rope approximately 4-5 feet long and at the end attach some weight usually 2-5 lbs and rolled with wrist with extended forearms. You can also use Thera-band and work out your forearms muscles. Important: do it as slow as you can in both directions. Good luck

I resent the implication that 'trials rider wives' would not be talking about anything interesting.
