Smoked Pork Tenderloin on a Pellet Smoker

  • In this video, we smoked a delicious pork tenderloin which we prepared two different ways! One is with a garlic butter seasoning, which we will slice up and eat in tacos! The other way is a spicy BBQ type rub, which we will eat with some delicious sides or on a sandwich! This was such a simple cook, anyone can do it! This was smoked on our Pit Boss Pellet Grill using The Pit Boss Brand Fruit Blend wood pellets. Full recipe and instructions below:
    1. Dry The Pork tenderloin off with a paper towel.
    2. Apply mustard as a binder.
    3. Apply a generous amount of seasoning evenly. (We used "Garlic Butter" by the Heath Riles Grilling company, and then for the other tenderloin we used "Gator Rub")
    4. Place on baking rack in the pellet smoker at 225* degrees.
    5. Sprits with Apple juice or Coke every 30-45 minutes throughout the cook.
    6. Smoke/cook for around 3 hours or until the internal temp is at 145* degrees. TIP: even after it gets to the right temp, make sure that your probe slides easily in and out of the meat in different places to ensure that it is nice and tender. If there is resistance when probing the meat, keep cooking a little longer.
