I'm a widowed Dad, honestly it took me weeks to brake down, for weeks after my wife passed I was on auto pilot. It's been 8 years and I'm still grieving to be honest.
I can clearly tell the man is still in shock. it's not that this man is not emotional, but emotion couldn't get to him yet when someone is still in shock. it's gonna be hell for him in about a week when his brain finishes processing of what actually happened. I hope his family and friend could stay close to him in the next week or so.
@D-Ry These family are willing to talk so it's up to them. I'm sure they get some $$$ compensation doing these interviews. It definitely will help with bills and funeral cost.
They don't have to talk to media if they don't want to, it's their choice too, so let them if they want too do the interview, they can Decline the interview from anyone, but it's their right to choose if they want too or don't.
I’m from Poland, and I just heard that his wife, Justyna, is Polish! She married him and has lived in the US for a long time. I thought she was Polish as soon as I heard her name, 'Justyna,' because it’s a classic Polish name! R.I.P. Justyna and her daughter, and all the people who tragically died in this catastrophe! What a horror!
Sometimes it can be healing to talk openly about the people they lost, maybe for him it's what he needs to do, tell the world what great people he had in his life. 🤷♂
This is a husband and father in complete shock. There is a whirlwind of chaos going on around him-once that calms down-it will hit him. I am so sorry. All the love and light to you, sir.
Yes. The questions are so odd, given it was 24hrs. Barely any processing has happened to answer these questions. So much love to the families that lost their loved ones. Life is precious and fleeting.
Reporters are reporters, I'm more shocked that the father would even go on the news less then 24 hours after his wife and young daughter were killed in the crash especially, since he was waiting at the airport for them when they landed.
@@LL-yy6mn so eloquently articulated, perfectly written to express the complex human emotion of this moment. Makes me reconsider a lot. Including how poetic LL YY6MN is as a username. Thank you.
He is in shock. I know what that looks like and feels like. It took me about a week to recover from the shock of losing my son. Once reality set in, and I started to process everything, it was ugly grieving and despair. My heart goes out to this dad. He is going to have a rough road ahead.
Many families have been split in half by this tragedy because a mom is often accompanying the one child to the figure skating camp while the other parent stays at home to take care of the other child.......Another story came from a dad who he and his wife adopted two boys from South Korea.....One became very good at figure skating so the mom supervised him while at the camp and the dad stayed at home with the other son.
I'm glad they at least have one child left. I can't imagine if you lost your whole family in one accident. Like Max Naumov all of a sudden his parents are gone and he is an only child.
Why these news channels think I need to hear from the family of the plane crash victims is beyond me. I might tune in to find out what caused the plane to crash or how many lives were saved, lost, etc, but I don't need a husband to tell me how he is processing the loss of his wife and child. That seems so wrong.
The news needs to leave these people alone, they're all in shock, they haven't even had time to process what's happened. Their lives are forever changed. LEAVE THEM ALONE.
So sorry for your loss… I will pray for you and your son as much as I can…hope you receive all the love and support you need at this time. My heart breaks for you and your child…
I think it’s so gross to interview this poor man to ask, “How is your 6 yo son processing this?”Among other ridiculous questions. Telling somebody who just lost their wife and daughter, “I can’t imagin, I have a 12 years old daughter.” is just so gutting…
1. He's agreeing to be interviewed. 2. Interviewers ask questions. Its the name of the game. What the heck is he suppose to ask him? How he feels about the Chiefs making another SB? C'mom lady...
Jesus Christ, I can't imagine the emotions this guy is and will be going through. It's the worst thing that can happen to a person and I hope his family and friends will be there to support him.
My heart breaks for this man. He lost half of his family in a blink of on eye. There would be no way I would be able to answer any of these questions this reporter is asking. I pray that God gives this man comfort during this difficult time.

I agree. I’m sure he’s been telling himself he has to be strong for his son 😞

@@JustJD-m4h this... I hope he gets a chance to vent and heal himself too..

That’s what I’m saying, why are they asking a man who just lost his wife and daughter these type of questions? Do they have no shame? Leave them alone

If they want to talk about their loved ones and share them with the world, they should have the space to do so.

I think it is absolutly wrong to interview people who are clearly in shock just to exploid them on the show. Disgusting.
Yet, here you are.
It's the dad's choice.
Yes. The questions are so odd, given it was 24hrs. Barely any processing has happened to answer these questions. So much love to the families that lost their loved ones. Life is precious and fleeting.

to be fair, the guy agreed to be interviewed and wasn't forced
Ya'll acting like he's at gunpoint. He's doing this from the comfort of his home, he didn't have to.
