Fun fact, Tommy Wiseau tried hard to get Doug's nc review of the room taken down and the guy who played Mark came on here as a 'You're an idiot, tommy' move about it. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's how it went down) Oddly enough, this raised the popularity of the room for tommy to do a making of the room movie movie....
Fun Fact: Sexual Harassment didn't become illegal until the 80s, so those old commercials about it were the first some people learned that it was unacceptable. Many employers didn't believe it should be illegal, so there was a lot of retaliation against women who reported sexual harassment. I mean, there's still retaliation nowadays, but there was still some support for what I can only call the "pro sexual harassment" side.
@@theduckgoesmoo The fact that there were even women in the workplace spoke volumes at the time but before that it was a man's world and they were impeding on their territory. Get back in the kitchen is a cringy meme today (and it is just now starting to get weeded out) but it came from a very real place.
Also un-fun fact Spousal rape was also legal until 1975-1980 before this period a husband could force his wife to have sex any time he wanted it, even if she didn’t want it and or said no simply cause she was his wife and was considered still more property than person
Honestly, I love Kix. The “flavorless” part is honestly untrue. It always had a sweetish corn flavor to it to me, and they are pretty decent!… when it’s fresh. The moment the puffs loose their crunch, run for the hills. Also yes, Kix still are made.
