In this video, science educator Simon makes his favourite constellation Orion the Hunter, which is one of the most recognizable in the night sky thanks to its three bright stars in a straight line--the hunter’s belt.
Constellations are a group of stars that make an imaginary shape in the sky. They’re patterns as seen from our observation point on Earth and serve a useful way to help identify positions of the stars in the sky. Cultures all over the world created their own constellations that reflected the stories that were important to them.
