@@noahboock At schools I've been to, those 3 weeks are for students that have failed a class. Hence the reason I said *some* and why people associate summer school with failing. Summer school isn't just for credit advancements(which doesn't take effect until as early as grade 8 depending on the class), it's also for remedial purposes
Hope that injured guy got a good recovery and everything went well since that accident. And I hope also, that everyone who was there got not only bad memories on that, also to learn for the future to care and support each other and together. I know that feeling. And besides of that, the kids should have a lot of fun and learn a lot more good things :)

JxC Playz it’s not common here anymore. I got kicked out of the YMCA for playing with out a shirt. They only do that at some camps and sometimes on street courts.
This was my 10 yr old godson's 2nd year at Duke camp and we were there with you guys (I was trying to see if you had me on film :-).....he is a HUGE Duke fan and has been in heaven for two years playing in Cameron and meeting Coach K....I absolutely love how involved Coach K is with the program and that alone is worth the price to me and we will keep going back until he doesn't won't to go anymore....but as for that awful injury, thank goodness he played on court 2 and didn't have to deal with those two outside courts....continued thoughts and prayers to that young camper and I pray that he is healing well.

I'm 13 and I've had some ankle and knee problems and it is the worst. I've never had as bad as that kid did though :( hope he gets well soon and can go back & ball 💪

At some point you got to realize not everyone makes it to college basketball, or for that matter, the nba. Also it’s ridiculous that you would travel to duke just to play with all the locals. I was at that camp and i knew everyone because they were all locals. You’ve got to tell him he won’t make it so he isn’t heart broken later.
I had a friend who broke his forearm while racing in pe. He was trying to use the wall to push him and the wall was padded. He pushed off and he had so much adrenaline that he didn’t notice it right away. He won and left the room and not even 5 min later he comes back into the room and says “coach i think I broke my arm” he came back three days later with a full arm cast. That sound of his arm breaking will never leave my mind and it still haunts me till this day
