Summer school isn't just for credit advancements(which doesn't take effect until as early as grade 8 depending on the class), it's also for remedial purposes
Hope that injured guy got a good recovery and everything went well since that accident. And I hope also, that everyone who was there got not only bad memories on that, also to learn for the future to care and support each other and together. I know that feeling. And besides of that, the kids should have a lot of fun and learn a lot more good things :)

JxC Playz it’s not common here anymore. I got kicked out of the YMCA for playing with out a shirt. They only do that at some camps and sometimes on street courts.
I'm 13 and I've had some ankle and knee problems and it is the worst. I've never had as bad as that kid did though :( hope he gets well soon and can go back & ball 💪

At some point you got to realize not everyone makes it to college basketball, or for that matter, the nba. Also it’s ridiculous that you would travel to duke just to play with all the locals. I was at that camp and i knew everyone because they were all locals. You’ve got to tell him he won’t make it so he isn’t heart broken later.
That poor kid, I hope he makes a fast recovery and this injury doesn't damage his future sport playing.
