Congrats on Boston and Congrats on that amazing PR/PB!!!!!I LOVE how you are willing to show your struggles as well as your triumphs! Not that we like to see anyone suffer but it is nice to see elite athletes like yourself struggle after a race lol😂❤. It doesn't matter if you are a 2:30 or a 4:30 plus marathoner, we all go through the same mental and physical battles each race! I hope to qualify for Boston in the next 2-3 years! I have a ways to go as my last marathon PR was 3:44 but I am going to push to try and get sub 3:20 for my age group. Thank you again for continuing to inspire everyone.

Running to me is fighting forward. You’ve been a huge inspiration and mentorship for me, not just in running but also above and beyond that. Thank you, I’ve enjoyed watching all your videos and following your journey. I didn’t do so hot in my last half marathon that was meant to be my first full Marathon. After a recovery break it’s back to running life. Saludos!!🏃🏾‍♂️

Also, Marathon blues are 1000% real!!! For me though, my biggest marathon blues have come after big PR/PB's! I think it was just the amount of time and energy it took to get to that point and then after you achieve it you are on a high for a few days, but once that high went away, it hit me really hard. At least now I know it is real and coming so I can be prepared to deal with it

Great Job Hellah! Trying to race for a PR is tough. Truly you'll only be on your best time once in your life. But to me the satisfaction is going for it, going all out. If u give everything you got there is no failure... Like Giannis said!

    Amazing video as always
Love the energy and you make a great point about running being our happy place and not to let competitive results bring sadness into it.
Looking forward to seeing you crush western states !

I’m running my first marathon this year and my goal will be 2:59. I can’t imagine how you felt about getting a massive pr but missing out on sub 3 by less than two minutes

You are mad! Wonderfully, humanly mad as a box of frogs. Love your passion, smile and persona

I’ve been happy with all of my races to date, because I entered them and completed them, however I’m not satisfied by any of them as I know the best of me is yet to come. Working on my training effort in 2023 to try and deliver.
