Reminds me of the day I took my children there, in around 1990. We didn't have much money at the time, it was just for interest, somewhere out of the ordinary to take them. And my little girl asked "Which is our plane, Daddy?" I nearly cried, as I had to admit that were were only there to watch.
Great video. What's the little thing sticking out at the back of the Delta 767 at the start? Looks like the anti tail strike device but maybe someone can clarify please.
I know I’m a bit late to comment on this video, however it’s so sad to see what came to Manchester over 8 years ago, compared to now with it being mainly the 737 and A320 family jets
i once went to the cafe just down the road from the airport in the garden centre good place for plane spotting dont know if its still there ill go again some time
Thanks for sharing your terrific filming - greatly appreciated and enjoyed. I am inspired to visit Manchester Airport myself for a bit of closer at hand spotting. Have seen footage from MiJiT HD in Auckland?
I didn't know they had to roll the window down like a car. That Austrian Air pilot looked worn out after cranking that window down. Was that just an old plane or what?
