I have been waiting for your video for this week. Just love your videos and I was 😩 when there was no new post until now.
    Cornwall is beautiful. Have fun.
I know nothing about farming and all these videos have been so informative. What a difficult job farming is. And, it’s so necessary, if we want to eat.

So sorry Christine! I had awful trouble with it yesterday, first I couldn't export it and then it got flagged for music copyright!
I'll do my best to make sure that the videos come out promptly on sundays. Cheers for watching!

Thanks for another interesting and informative video. It is excellent that the training was not only showing shearing technique but also the nutrition and a healthy lifestyle was included. Keep up the good work.

Great class. I think all of the young men & women learned a lot. I know I did. But I am old 👵🏻. This was really wonderful. I hope they have more class for those who couldn’t make this class.

As a sheep farmer you are a generalist. As a shearer only you can afford to be a specialist. You and I are at the sheep, fences, lambs, shearing, back to the fencing, working on a home project for our own house, getting the yootoob stuff done and sending out orders, going to the feed store, checking physical health of sheep, going to buy medicines, giving shots, worming, medicating for fly strike, back to feeding, cleaning crap out of the barn, finding hay for the Winter, stacking hay for the Winter and checking on your family so they remember what you look like…oh..is the truck sounding off? It needs work too! What a shearer, who only does shearing and teaching to shear does IS UNATTAINABLE! You and I get the information that benefits us…it’s like the ‘meat and the bones’, we ‘Chew up the meant and spit out the bones’….we get what we need, leave the rest and move on. You’re already doing a lot! Be satisfied with doing as well as you can.

Some of the best shearers in the world are working in Nz and Aussie wool sheds but they don't chase records like some shearers, but are world class

The right comb can make a difference of 50 sheep a day.

So true! I'm only catching onto it in the last couple of years, before I used to just push whatever comb I put on. 😅

Looks like the wool is falling off an ear of corn like melted butter . Glad you can rest and not always run after sheep. You could be a teacher 👨‍🏫 be day.
