For a long time, we had the minimum 2000 points. It worked fine while our grandkids were homeschooled. Now that they are in Christian schools, their schedules did not allow us to book offseason. Thus we had to buy more points. We recently bought an additional 8000 points. Yes, it’s a big expense but worth it as our kids and grandkids can enjoy when we’re gone.
Marriott is a treat to you like HGVC is a treat to me, it makes sense having a smaller enhanced portion in the mix. Unlike Marriott, I don't think HGVC is consistently higher end, so it is important for us to pick the best properties (mainly Hawaii).
i believe I have a video of the one bedroom. Hope you like it. The pools are crowded compared to the properties on the big island just because the towers are so tall.
Thanks for this video. It confirmed for me why I chose Marriott. Luxury is important to me - I worked hard for it.
Nice to be able to reward yourself

My kids have started using them and I will be happy for them even after I am gone

HGVC is also a treat for me. I feel very lucky about staying at HGVC. I find that HGVC has high end but not consistently
@@timesharetraveler I just booked the Lagoon Tower in the Hilton Hawaiian Village, hopefully we like it as much as Hokulani.
