I am old enough to remember seeing the first one at Christmas in 1984. No one who was not alive or old enough in the 80's will know how HUGE Eddie was...it was like MJ...and Eddie. I even loved BHC2. The 3rd one was terrible.......This new one smells of the same vibe...I will watch it...I will enjoy it....but if it is all about him being "too old for this sh*t" I will be disappointed. Axel was a bad ass who used street smarts and wit and charm to solve crimes. I saw the unaired TV pilot where his son was a cop...and Eddie kept popping up. All I can say is I am hopeful...I LOVED Coming 2 America...so if this is nostalgic like that I will say it will redeem itself in my eyes.
Yeah Coming 2 America was great! And I agree! I hope they take that approach, reminding us why we loved the Beverly Hills Cop movies so much!

I’m in my 40’s and one of the things that made my era(Beverly hills cop) sooo great was that everybody wasn’t doing the same thing..I’m not hating on technology I’m just saying..It’s oversaturated at this point
