    how about when the sail pulley's face the same way as the ext pulley's. Rented some Naish sails recently and that's what I encountered. Thanks

      When the pulleys are facing the same way it's a piece of cake! Just go right around in circles. If the line starts off the bottom of the extension, start at the bottom pulley on the sail and then the middle then the top.

    My sail only has grommet type loops to apply downhaul.

      You can use the same exact pattern for the grommet. When you start pulling the tension the lines will slide cleanly if it was threaded correctly. However, an easier option for a grommet is to buy a downhaul hook. oceanairsports.com/collections/windsurf-components/products/3-pulley-downhaul-hook
