I am aware of this, having grown up with them. It was irony. I still maintain without Noddy they aren't Slade, anymore than the Rolling Stones wouldn't be the RS without Mick Jagger.

The only thing worth watching and listening to with regards to this line up is the base player, wish he'd sing more often.
