I followed this show from day 1 and it gained popularity because of coach hyun and lg sakers content. I feel he is the most genuine one he always showed his flaws never pretends...and the concept of the show fits him well..he is watching his flaws on the screen(mirror) and learning from there. Nobody changes overnight it takes time.
Lol my heart breaks when Coach Hyun said no one is by his side now TT it must have been so frustrating for him as basketball was his everything and now he has to learn new skill... Not to mention his previous experience with business :( I'm glad he has Ahn Jung Hwan and Mrs Shim guiding him. Coach Hyun fighting!!! 힘을 내요 슈퍼 파월!!!

it is well addressed. the change of emotions and psychology that a retiree has to go through is an actual issue but not a known fact to everyone. The stage Coach Hyun is at right now will be relatable by many who have been through that. Especially for middle-age men in Asia, traditionally and conventionally in charge of being the breadwinner, a wash of emotion, a loss of daily routine, a shaking definition about themselves in social relationships are all real. I think ppl still hesitate to discuss it in Korea. Well done the production team

He already stopped playing as a player. He was hired as a coach even though he has no experience of coaching by LG which is a professional team, then his contract already ended. The season comes to an end earlier because of the virus (COVID-19) and their over-all result was terrible, they come last. He and the employer probably had a talk that if he couldn't bring his team reach as one of the tops, they won't renew the contract and he decided on his part that he has to retire because he already knew that his time in the basketball world is done. He's already named as one of the legends in their league.
Why is he even here.. he’s not a boss anymore is this a mukbang show? ( Dongeun and boss Yang is enough for me) If they’re gonna bring back someone who’s not a boss anymore I would prefer Chef Choi. He can be so rude to the other bosses (he’s shady towards boss Kim and boss Jini, undermining their success) acting so high and mighty even though he wasn’t really a boss not to mention he literally got fired.

The old format of Boss in the Mirror was so famous where they literally diss each other's actions, pointing things out and try to correct them. However, when the season starts he left because he got busy, then the rating dropped, the show got softer, the content of the video is not related to the title anymore. The people asked him to come back, he was a hit.
