So adding a flat 6 and a flat 3 to a major scale is considered the "Holdsworth Scale"?So then I guess that scale works on all the modes and diatonic chords of the major scale as well. It's interesting that even a modern fusion guy is into the Barry Harris 6 diminished thing,it shows you how versatile it is, it's not just for bebop.
David. if you really wanna see the ultimate interview talking about the scale you mentioned and everything about Allan Holdsworth, watch my interview with Brett Stine. It's absolutely brilliant and amazing! You will learn so much
@@streetwiseguitar5113 Alex Machacek is the closest although making these comparisons is really stupid. Never heard of this guy, does he even make albums, or just another youtuber?
Allan Holdsworth always told other people to develop their own musicality and be *original*.
There Can Only Be 1!😮😂
The main interview that I did with it on my channel… I think you'll really enjoy it
No...let's stop the comparisons and enjoy this player for who he is and not who he sounds like or is emulating.
Watch the interview that I did with him on my channel! It’s absolutely brilliant and you will better understand the thumbnail🔥🎸
Absolutely brilliant!
Yes... Allan was a VISIONARY!!! Just because you may be able to play some Allan doesn't mean you can carry a fraction of his greatness!
Go to my video cachet and look at the actual interview. Then you'll understand more about the title.

We don't need more guitarists. We have plenty.
Better talk with Guitar center about that
But we need more gifted musicians
